Kourtney stuns in sexy studded bikini, says she won't force her children to take part in reality TV shows
'Keeping Up With the Kardashians' (KUWTK) has been going strong for 17 seasons since its debut in 2007, and is now the longest-running reality television series in the country. Despite its lengthy running period, there has hardly been an episode that's been short of drama.
And if Kourtney Kardashian's recent comments on 'The Real' this past Monday, September 16, are anything to go by, there could be even more drama in the future, with the 40-year-old revealing that she was seriously contemplating leaving KUWTK.
"Khloe always tries to instill in all of us, let's wake up and be so grateful," she said. "Grateful that I'm filming in my house or going to Khloe's house for the day or filming with my sister or my mom or my kids and so I do feel like we all have our moments where we are like 'I hate this' or whatever."
"So, every day is different," she explained when asked about the rumors that she was planning to quit the show. "But at the current moment, I’m happy and very into my blessings and feeling very good."
"But I definitely have my moments where [I want to leave]," she added. "Because I mean, life is short, and you want to be happy."
She admitted she and her family "didn't even think" about how the show would impact their lives when they first signed up. "We didn't even think about it," she revealed. " We just hit the ground running and I don't even know if that's the right sentence. We just kind of did it and it happened so quickly and I don't think we even thought about it."
She also said she wouldn't force her children—Mason, 9, Penelope, 7, and Reign, 4—into starring in their own reality shows. "If they want to do it. I think it's whatever their dreams are. I definitely would never push them to do it and it's not something that I'm hoping that they're going to do," she said.
Her admission comes after she was seen looking very happy in a bikini on the latest episode of KUWTK. The 'Kardashian Konfidential' author looked toned in a two-piece dusty rose-colored swimsuit that was embedded with several silver studs.
Kourtney also spoke about Kylie, and how she feels pressured over the fact that her sister is not only a billionaire but the youngest-ever self-made billionaire.
The 40-year-old was asked about whether she found her sister's wealth intimidating, and responded, "Probably subconsciously it makes us feel like, 'When's it enough?'"
"And that's a thing I always think to myself — 'When is it enough?'" she continued. "Because I don't like missing out on certain things like doing my kids' homework or certain after school activities or different things like that."
