Kourtney Kardashian gets 'vampire facial' even as Kim sues doctor for using her name to sell treatment

We recently reported on how Kim Kardashian West was suing an Alabama-based doctor for using her name and image without her permission to promote their "vampire facial".
The patented treatment uses the client's blood in a micro-needling procedure to revitalize the skin. However, her 40-year-old sister Kourtney is still a fan of the beauty fix, lawsuit withstanding.
Just a few weeks after 39-year-old Kim's lawsuit made headlines, Kourtney posted an Instagram video about her visit to Beverly Hills plastic surgeon Dr Jason Diamond.
"Blood facial. No numbing," she wrote, captioning the Insta-story alongside a needle and strong-arm emoji. "Blood facial" is another name for the viral "vampire facial" Kim had once received on an episode of 'Kourtney and Kim Take Miami' in 2013.
Just last year, Kim had declared herself to be #notafan. In a post on her former blog, she had explained how she regretted ever getting the vampire facial done.
Because she was pregnant with daughter North at the time, she found herself in a much more painful situation than she had originally expected.
She wrote: "Before I got the procedure, I just found out that I was pregnant, so I couldn't use numbing cream or a pain killer and both are suggested. It was really rough and painful for me. I couldn't tell anyone about the pregnancy either, but I pulled Jonathan [Cheban] aside and told him."
But since she was filming for the reality show, she dealt with the pain. "My show was also filming the treatment, so I felt I couldn't chicken out," Kim shared. "It was honestly the most painful thing ever!"
She added, "Even though it wasn't for me, I know it has so many benefits for your skin. Kourtney is a huge fan and I know a lot of other people that love it, too."
