"We are beyond excited that our baby girl 'Koko' has arrived #BryantBunch #4princesses #blessed," Kobe wrote on Friday, with Vanessa adding, "So thankful for our newest baby blessing."

Kobe had revealed during Vanessa's fourth pregnancy that the couple were trying for a son in a bid to "complete" their family.

In 2003, their first child Natalia Diamante Bryant came into this world.

In 2005, Vanessa suffered a miscarriage due to an ectopic pregnancy.

The following year, their second daughter Gianna Maria-Onore Bryant was born.

In 2011, Vanessa filed for divorce from Kobe citing irreconcilable differences, before the couple requested joint custody of their daughters. But they put their differences aside and got back together in 2013.

In 2016, they welcomed their third child Bianka Bella.

The duo first met in 1991 when the NBA star was 21 and Vanessa just 17. Six months later in May 2000, they became engaged while Vanessa was still a senior at Marina High School in Huntington Beach, California. She later finished high school through independent study.
