Kirsten Dunst confused as Kanye West uses her photo on campaign banner: 'What's the message here?'
After Kanye West posted a presidential campaign banner with actress Kristen Dunst's face on it, the actress seemed confused and reached out to the rapper asking him why he had chosen to use her picture.
The post in question contained a grid-like banner, which had the faces of multiple celebrities and common people on it, with the words, 'Kanye 2020 vision' written on alternate squares. West tweeted it on Wednesday, August 19, with the caption, ''#2020VISION.'' On the top of the banner, a smiling Dunst was featured. Among others featured was Vogue Editor-in-Chief Anna Wintour.
It seemed like West had not asked for Dunst's permission to use her picture for his campaign banner and as a result, left the 'Spiderman' star confused. ''What’s the message here, and why am I apart (sic) of it?" she wrote in response to West's post, along with a confused emoji.
What’s the message here, and why am I apart of it? 🤷🏼♀️

As of Thursday, August 20, West still has to respond to Dunst's query. Nevertheless, a number of social media users stepped up to provide explanations as to why the musician might have chosen to use the actress photo without her consent. "He's having a bipolar breakdown, nobody seems to be helping him, I have bipolar, he's manic right now and he thinks he's a true Christian and the next President, I pray for him every night,'' one wrote.

Another had their doubts about whether West was really going through a mental breakdown. ''This isn’t mania. This is a fraudulent and knowing campaign orchestrated by Kushner who met with Kanye. Mania explains West interrupting Swift to praise Beyoncé. Mania doesn’t cover all the advisors and lawyers needed to create a campaign. Someone is helping him,'' the user wrote.

''Kanye has a vision. It’s about the year 2020. The future. You’re a huge part of it. That’s the message. I dunno what it is either but at least he thought of you first! Err...no second, after 'Jesus Tok'. This is big - who knows, you could be the next Kirsten Dunst!'' a third wrote.

Some people who were familiar with the Kanye West-Taylor Swift feud took the opportunity to make references to the infamous scandal. "He probably thought you were Taylor swift," one of them wrote, while another said, "Pretty soon he’s gonna tell you he made you famous."
West, who announced his bid for the office of the president on July 4 out of the blue, has been making headlines due to his bizarre confession in his first presidential rally — which included the fact that is wife Kim Kardashian once considered aborting their firstborn, North — and subsequent Twitter rant about various members of his family.
Recently, after Democratic Presidential candidate Joe Biden announced his vice presidential pick Kamala Harris, West posted a photo of his late mother Donda as a child with the caption, ''I know my mom and Kamala Harris would have been friends... congratulations on being the democratic Vice President nominee... all love and respect from the future president. It’s an honor to run against you''.
