Kings of Leon's Nathan Followill and wife Jessie Baylin welcome their first son
Kings of Leon’s Nathan Followill and his wife, Jessie Baylin, have welcomed their second child, a son named Oliver Francis Followill, and confirmed their happy news on April 13. Three days after the baby was born, the 38-year-old happy father took to Instagram to announce the arrival of his baby boy; “Oliver Francis Followill has arrived,” he captioned a pic of the newborn’s footprints. “I’m so in love it hurts."
Oliver was born in Nashville, Tennessee, on Tuesday, April 10, at 9:58 p.m weighing 9 lbs., 5 oz., upon his arrival.
Jessie Baylin also kept her social media game strong to reveal her newborn by posting a sweet black-and-white shot of their 5-year-old daughter, Violet Marlowe, doting on her baby brother.
“Hello world, here he is,” the Nashville based singer captioned the pic. “Oliver Francis Followill. You complete us in every way. 4.10.18” The rocker first announced the pregnancy news with a funny picture of his wife in November.
Baylin also posted her announcement about baby No. 2 with an adorable Instagram post back in October. The snapshot featured Violet lying in the sand at the beach next to the words “Big Sister,” spelled out in seashells, with the caption, “Spring 2018.”
Followill and Baylin married in Brentwood, Tennessee, in November 2009. The new arrival is the latest addition to the Kings of Leon family — joining cousin Dixie Pearl, the 5½-year-old daughter of Victoria’s Secret Angel Lily Aldridge and Followill’s brother/lead singer Caleb Followill.
