Archie to celebrate 2nd birthday over Zoom call with Queen, Internet calls May 6 'King Archie Day'
Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's son Archie Harrison Mountbatten-Windsor, turns two on Thursday, May 6. While not much is known about how the formerly royal couple plans to celebrate the day, the toddler will reportedly have a Zoom call with his great-grandmother, the Queen, as part of the special day.
Despite the bombshell Oprah Winfrey interview back in March, where Harry and Meghan painted the monarchy in a negative light, the couple has decided to have Archie take a Zoom call with Queen Elizabeth, an insider has claimed.

Virtual play date with cousins
Also on the agenda for the big day is a virtual play date with his cousins, Prince George, Prince Louis and Princess Charlotte, who are the children of the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge. Speaking to OK magazine, royal author Katie Nicholl said: “Harry... always wanted his children to grow up close to William and Kate’s. That would be the childhood he enjoyed with his own cousins, Zara, Beatrice and Eugenie. Sadly it’s looking increasingly unlikely for Archie. Very little is known about how much the brothers have spoken in recent months and what the situation is between them, but I find it hard to imagine that the Cambridges won’t at least pick up the phone on Archie’s birthday," she added.
Members of the royal family is slated to come together to mark the toddler's birthday. “We know that Harry still speaks regularly with his grandmother and one of the Queen’s joys is to see Archie. I’m sure there will be a Zoom call with her on his special day," she said.

Archie was born on May 6, 2019. At the time he weighed 7lb 3oz, and a few days after his birth Meghan and Harry proudly showed him to the world, before the queen and Duke of Edinburgh saw him for the first time.
In a video released by Harry and Meghan last year for his first birthday, Archie was seen playing up for the camera as his mother read him the popular children's book, 'Duck! Rabbit!' Archie has rarely been seen in public during the past 12 months but he did feature in a black and white video clip released in March, showing him walking along a beach as his parents and the family's pet dog, Guy, watched him.
Archie will soon become a big brother to a baby girl. The duke and the duchess announced the happy news. Earlier this year, the couple wrote in a statement: "We can confirm that Archie is going to be a big brother. The Duke and Duchess of Sussex are overjoyed to be expecting their second child." In the Oprah interview, the couple revealed that they were expecting a daughter. In the same interview, Meghan alleged that during her time at the palace, a member of the royal family had enquired about Archie's skin color when she was pregnant with him. While Meghan's due date has not been confirmed, she is expected to give birth to her second child in June.
