Kim Zolciak-Biermann went ‘bananas’ after Delta Air Lines agent removed her children from plane while she was in washroom

The alleged incident happened on July 20 when an agent of Delta Air Lines kicked Kim Zolciak-Biermann's family off a flight from Los Angeles to Atlanta

'The Real Housewives of Atlanta' star Kim Zolciak-Biermann on Thursday, August 1, slammed Delta Air Lines on her 'House of Kim podcast'. This comes after Zolciak-Biermann made headlines on July 20 as her daughter Brielle Biermann, 22, tweeted about an alleged incident in which the airline kicked their family off a flight from Los Angeles to Atlanta.

The reality star claimed that her entire family-- including Kim's husband, Kroy Biermann, and their family service dog-- arrived at the airport with an hour to spare but Kroy got delayed at the gate because he was asked by a Delta agent to fill out a new set of paperwork for the pooch.

The process took longer than expected, making Kroy late for the flight. Kim's husband said that although he was assured by the Delta supervisors that they would be holding the aircraft for him, one gate agent “made an insubordinate decision” and decided to pull the family out of the plane.

Kim claimed she was in the washroom with her 5-year-old daughter Kaia when her 8-year-old son KJ and 6-year-old son Kash, as well as their hand luggage, were removed from the plane by a Delta gate attendant.

“I heard my kids getting kind of emotional but then they seemed to get far away. It was really weird,” she explained to People Magazine.

“So…I stop and look and my kids are off the plane and so are my bags! I had left my big makeup bag full of product on my seat, that was gone. The bins were open, which were closed, and my kids were gone — at least KJ and Kash, I couldn’t see Kane (Kaia's twin brother) because he’s much smaller than them. … And a gentleman is in Kaia’s seat [who] had moved up from the main cabin.”

Not knowing that their mother was inside the washroom, Kim's daughters, Brielle, 22, and Ariana, 17, came over from the row behind first class to check out the commotion after hearing their brother’s cries.

After hearing their voices, Kim came out of the plane's restroom. “I didn’t know what was going on,” she said.

“Who the f**k touches my children, removes my bag, and removes my kids from a plane without a parent? Are you out of your f*****g mind? … It’s a criminal thing when you’re taking kids off a plane and people’s bag."

Kim added that she went "bananas" after meeting with the gate agent at the jetway.

Her 6-year-old son had already started hyperventilating after being forced out of the plane by a complete stranger without his parents anywhere to be seen.

"These are little kids, dude," she said. "That’s what got me so mad. It wasn’t that I wasn’t on this flight. It wasn’t that I was entitled cause I was in first class. Yeah, we paid thousands of dollars for these tickets, that’s irrelevant. My biggest problem is that you removed my children.”

After the flight left without them, the family rebooked their tickets and traveled home the following day.

She added that she was also "flabbergasted" to learn that Delta had initially released a statement saying that the Biermann “elected to deplane" before retracting their statement.

“To see a large corporation say that I elected to remove my family off the plane, that they offered to rebook us on another flight because we took it upon ourselves to book our own tickets, was insane to me," she said.

The reality star said that the airline was investigating the matter. “I should hear back tomorrow,” she said.
