Topless Kim Kardashian breaks the internet again, this time with boob tape
Kim Kardashian explained to her fans and followers on Tuesday how to achieve the same look she once did with her notorious gaffer tape bra by demonstrating how her new SKIMS body tape works on Instagram.
According to the fashion mogul, her new invention is pain-free on the nipple area. She revealed how she had to resort to using sticky gaffer tape as there were no other options in the market to hold her cleavage in place and lift it when she went braless.
The 39-year-old admitted that the tape wasn't intended for use on the body and would often "rip her skin" while removing the same. "Hey guys, I'm in my closet and I'm going to show you how to tape up your boobs with the boob tape because it's something that I used for so many years," she said.
The tape reportedly works as a lift, especially for low neckline dresses and also while wearing a blazer without a shirt underneath.
Using duct or gaffer tape can often lead to puckering of breasts under the outfit and is painful to remove, despite having been a stylist's trick for braless looks for the longest time. Kim said the gaffer tape would "burn me and rip me" especially after wearing it under halterneck dresses or while going braless under blazers.
The 'KUWTK' star showcased three different shades of tape that would soon be available via her SKIMS brand. "I haven't really seen a tape that's out there that was in different variety of new colors, so I'm excited to launch these really soon along with our nipple covers," she said.
Kim showed how easy it was to take the back label off in order to reveal the adhesive side of her new tape which would stick to the body. "If only we had this back in the day, that would be so amazing," she remarked.
During the demonstration, she confessed she first learned of the secret of boob tapes while working on a fragrance shoot years ago. Kim later had the model pull the tape off her body without any pain or unwanted marks left behind.
