Kim Kardashian West announces $500 cash prize for Christmas, here's how you can win #KKWHoliday contest

Kim Kardashian West announced a contest on her Twitter handle on Monday where she said she would be giving away a $500 cash prize to 1000 people

It is Christmas in a few days and Kim Kardashian West has decided to don the Santa hat. On Monday, she took to Twitter to announce that she will be awarding a $500 cash prize to 1000 people. She wrote, "Hey guys! 2020 has been hard and many are worried about paying rent or putting food on their table- I want to spread the love by sending $500 to 1000 people."

She also shared an image along with the tweet which directed the followers that all they would need to do is use hashtag #KKWHoliday and share their $cashtags as comments on her tweet. The post read, "It's the most wonderful time of the year. I know 2020 has been really hard and people are struggling, worried about how they are going to pay rent, put food on the table, or a gift under the tree for their kids. I want to spread the love by sending $500 to 1000 people." The post then added, "Send me your $cashtag below with #KKWHoliday." The giveaway event is in collaboration with Cash App. 

Followers of Kardashian have since shared their cash tags under the post in huge numbers. And many are also sharing their struggles in the comments section. One person for instance wrote, "I'm getting no hours now after getting my hours at work cut in half.. I could use it for bills piled up & for my boy as a mom, I feel like I'm failing. $haleywinning." Another follower wrote, "Kim, I am undocumented artist without health insurance, anything I can do to save up for healthcare helps. I’ve gone through operations in my uterus this past year after two miscarriages. #kkwholiday $nailahbarcelona." A third follower also commented, "Please Kim! I usually don't ask but I've had a super tough year! My dad has been a key worker and had worked all though the pandemic! I'd be so grateful as anything would help! #KKWHoliday."

The requests continued. One of the followers asked to be awarded the prize for a cat surgery and wrote, "If you can, please consider donating to help pay for my cat’s surgery. my hours at work have been cut due to covid and i am supposed to be saving to move in january. we are hanging on by a thread! if you can’t donate please retweet!" One of the followers also mentioned how they were trying to escape an abusive household and wrote, "I’m saving up to escape an abusive household. this would help more than you’ll ever ever know. thank you so much for the opportunity $marissayvonne01 #KKWHoliday." One follower wrote, "$imaniarielle for a black woman looking to raise at least $5,000 to cover the costs of her midwife and doula in addition to helping cover her rent and expenses while she recovers post-partum."

Many also shared screenshots of winning the cash prize with the same hashtag. One follower wrote, "Im screaming Loudly (crying face) thank you thank you thank you!!!!!! I LOVE YOU SM @KimKardashian #KKWHoliday."

Meanwhile, Kardashian's brand Skims recently announced a collection called the 'Boyfriend Collection' that features the brand's first-ever unisex styles of T-shirts.
