Kim Kardashian ropes in daughter North West, 6, and niece Penelope, 7, to promote her latest SKIMS range
For months we have seen Kim Kardashian West advertise her shapewear range SKIMS through lingerie-clad models, but this time around the reality star resorted to a very different advertising strategy.
Why invest in models and super-models when you have budding superstars like North West and Penelope Disick at hand. Kim roped in her six-year-old daughter North West and her seven-year-old niece Penelope Disick to model for SKIMS' latest offering — cozy pajamas.
We see North and Penelope alongside two other friends of theirs flaunting their comfy looking nightwear and robe. In the video that the reality star posted on her Instagram, we see the four adorable kids dub their group as "Cardi Gang" in honor of Cardi B.
North calls herself Little Cardi, while Penelope says she is Cardi P. Mind you, Penelope meant it as she can be seen wearing a Cardi P necklace around her neck!
The post managed to catch Cardi's eye, who immediately commented with her approval. She posted, "This made me feel sooo special. I feel soo happy." Kim captioned the video and couple of photos accompanying it by asking if her fans wanted her to launch the cozy collection for kids too.
She wrote, "The Cardi Crew in @skims cozy collection! Should we really make these for kids? Drop a comment below if we should do a mommy and me collection!!!"
When Kim launched her cozy collection, which is essentially a comfy pajama set with a robe, it sold out within minutes. She regularly posted pictures of her daughter North in the cozy set and looks like she got these sets custom made for North and her friends.
In the video Kim posted, we can see North in a brown cozy set, Penelope in a pink set, and their friends in brown and black sets. After watching how comfortable North is around the cameras, we wouldn't be surprised if she is already a supermodel in the making.
