Kim Kardashian shares first close-up photo of newborn son Psalm West
Kim Kardashian and Kanye West gave the world a close-up look at their newborn son, Psalm, on Monday. The couple welcomed their fourth child, a baby boy named Psalm West exactly a month ago. He was born via surrogate and the super proud mom celebrated by posting an image of her newborn on Instagram and Twitter. According to TMZ, Psalm weighed 6 lbs and 9 oz.; and was delivered by go-to Kardashian doctor, Dr. Paul Crane.
The picture was captioned "Psalm Ye," and shows the baby sleeping blissfully in a onesie and laying on top of a blanket. The caption has already led fans to speculate if the baby has a middle name. If Ye is believed to be a middle name, then Psalm will be the only of their children to have one as their other two daughters and a son do not have middle names. Psalm's three older Kardashian-West siblings are North, 5, Saint, 3, and Chicago, 1.00
According to The Cut, this picture was the first time the general public got to see the cute baby’s face close-up. The first time the world got a glimpse of Psalm was when Kim tweeted the name of their fourth child on Twitter, a week after his birth.
The 'Keeping Up with the Kardashians' star first announced Psalm's arrival on May 10 with a tweet that read, "He's here and he's perfect!" A week after his birth, she shared a screenshot of a text exchange with Kanye that showed Psalm sleeping, but the image wasn't a close-up.
Earlier, she also claimed Psalm looks like Chicago’s twin brother. Although she was happy with the first surrogate, due to her own pregnancy, Kim had to look for a new surrogate for Psalm. The rumors about Kim and Kanye having another baby started in January this year. The make-up mogul did not confirm the news until the middle of January when she appeared on 'Watch What Happens Live With Andy Cohen'.
