Kim Kardashian and Kanye West's surrogate goes into labor with their fourth child

Kourtney Kardashian made the announcement on a talk show as she acknowledged that Kim was supposed to be on the show but couldn't make it because the surrogate had gone into labor

Baby number four is on its way! Kim Kardashian West and Kanye West's surrogate has gone into labor, according to reports. In January, Kim and her husband Kanye announced that they were expecting their fourth child, a boy, via a surrogate.

On Thursday, Kourtney Kardashian revealed the news of the imminent arrival of her nephew on the 'Ellen DeGeneres Show'. Kim's mother Kris Jenner, who was a guest on the show, was surprised by all of her grandkids and eldest daughter Kourtney as they joined her and Ellen.

The 'Poosh' founder appeared on the show with Kourtney’s kids Mason, Penelope, and Reign and Kim’s children North, Saint, and Chicago. "So, my mom doesn’t even know this, but Kim’s surrogate went into labor, so she’s at the hospital," she said, to a shocked Kris who fired back: "What! What are we doing here?!" When DeGeneres asked Kourtney if anyone else knew this, to which the television personality answered, "No!". 

The exciting baby news comes days after rumors spread online that the reality star and Kanye's surrogate had already delivered their son. The reality TV star was quick to shut them down with her tweet which read: "Wait just saw news our baby boy came but that's not true. It's Met Monday, I'm in NYC. I would be at the hospital lol."

Just a couple of weeks ago, Kim's friends and family had gathered for the star’s meditation and CBD (Cannabidiol)-themed baby shower at her house. "I thought it was kind of ridiculous to have a fourth baby shower. But I thought I'm freaking the f--k out having a fourth kid," Kim said at the celebrations. "So, because I'm freaking out and the baby is coming in, like, two weeks, I thought what better way to celebrate than to have a little CBD," she added. 

Kim and Kanye used a leftover embryo they created to bring this newest baby to life. He'll join North, Saint and Chicago as the sixth member of the family.
