Kanye West and Kim Kardashian expecting baby number 4 via surrogacy
Kim and Kanye welcomed their baby girl Chicago via a surrogate last year, and the latest addition is expected "in very early May"
The West clan is ready to welcome another member into the family! According to a new report, Kim Kardashian and her rapper husband Kanye West are expanding the family with a fourth baby via a surrogate, and the child is reportedly going to be a baby boy.
According to a source at Us Weekly, Kim and Kanye, who welcomed their baby girl Chicago via a surrogate last year, apparently had one embryo left, which was a male one. And now, the insider said that Kim and Kanye's baby boy is due to arrive “in very early May.”
Along with being doting parents to baby Chicago, the 'Famous' singer and the KKW Beauty mogul are also parents to North, 5, and Saint, 3. Another source revealed that the 38-year-old reality TV star “always wanted four kids.”
And she revealed the same during an interview last year, adding: "I don't think I could handle more than that." At the time, she also gushed about the benefits of surrogacy, saying: "The control is hard at the beginning. Once you let that go, it's the best experience. I would recommend surrogacy for anybody."
It was in an episode of 'Keeping Up With The Kardashians' that Kim was heard talking about her future family plans with her good pal, Larsa Pippen. She said: "Kanye wants to have more. He's been harassing me. He wants like seven. He's like stuck on seven."
She added she was reluctant, pointing out: "[Seven kids is] crazy. I could never, especially in like the world we live in. I've been kinda hesitant about having more kids because it literally keeps me up at night, thinking about how my kids will survive in a crazy world like this."
The reality star had to consider the option of surrogacy for her third child Chicago because of certain health risks. She was recently called out on this by some troll on Instagram, who claimed that the star's daughter Chicago "wasn't her biological daughter", but was saved by younger sister Khloe Kardashian.
“If you don’t know about someone’s situation then maybe you shouldn’t comment. Try informing yourself first before you make such silly statements,” Khloé wrote. “Your [sic] passive wanna be petty comment is simply uneducated,” The 'Revenge Body' star continued. “Chicago is Kimberly’s DNA. She and her husband made embryos and then they were blessed enough to have a surrogate carry their child for them since Kimberly is unable to. God bless modern medicine.”
