Kim Kardashian says Kanye West has banned North from wearing makeup after spending years to get her to 'out dress' Rihanna
Rapper Kanye West has banned his six-year-old daughter North, from wearing make-up and crop tops after becoming a "born again" Christian.
The 42-year-old West just released his latest album 'Jesus Is King' and has now shared that North cannot touch makeup until she is a teenager.
West's wife Kim Kardashian recently admitted that his new conservative views are causing tensions in their home especially when it comes to North using cosmetics.
The 39-year-old Kim, who is a make-up mogul, told E!News on Thursday, October 24, "North is trying to get in on the makeup, but she's being blocked heavily because her dad has stopped all makeup for her until she is a teenager."
"It's a big discussion, a big fight in the household right now but it is what's best. I think as a parent you just learn and figure it out as you go and we realized we didn't really want her to wear makeup at a young age but she sees her mom putting on lipstick and lip gloss," she continued.
Even though West had previously allowed North to wear make-up, he decided against it last month. North has been on several occasions testing many makeup trends.
Last year, during the Kardashian Christmas Eve party, North had proudly puckered her lips at the camera as she sported a stunning bold shade.
West has also made some new rules about North's clothes. He had shared on his Apple Music's Beats 1 that when North was young, he wanted her to look like a pop star.
"I was literally out there making [North] try to out dressing like Rihanna," he shared.
However, he regrets his decision now and said, "I don't think North should wear a crop top after I had her wear a slip dress when she was two years old. I think and feel differently now that I am a Christian."
