Kim Kardashian is reportedly enlisting the help of attorneys to prevent Willie 'Ray J' Norwood, her sex video partner, from leaking raunchy recordings. The 41-year-old reality star's ecstasy-fueled antics with her 41-year-old ex, which began on her 22nd birthday in Cabo San Lucas in 2002, were notably released by Vivid Entertainment on a 41-minute DVD titled Kim Kardashian, Superstar in 2007.

"Kim knows that Ray J made other tapes of them together," a source told The Sun on Sunday, April 10, that some of the tapes will be "incredibly intimate." "She has told lawyers, 'Over my dead body is this happening again,'" the source added.

It's unknown whether the threatening footage was part of the alleged second sex tape on a hard drive purchased from Ray J by Kim's estranged third husband Kanye 'Ye' West.

In an interview with Hollywood Unlocked on January 24, the 44-year-old rapper-designer revealed, "I went and got the laptop from Ray J myself. I met this man at the airport, then got on a red-eye, came back [and] delivered it to her at 8 am in the morning...She cried when she saw it. You know why she cried when she seen it on the laptop? Because it represents how much she's been used. It represents how much people didn't love her, and they just saw her as a commodity."

Kardashian disputed the existence of a second sex tape the next day. "After review, there was nothing sexual unseen," her representative told People on January 25. "Only footage on the plane on the way to Mexico and footage at a club and restaurant on the same trip. Kim remains firm in her belief that there is no new second tape that exists. After 20 years, she truly wishes to move on from this chapter with focus instead on the positive things she continues to do as a mother, entrepreneur and advocate for justice reform."

"This needs to end. I also have kids," the Mississippi-born R&B artist tweeted on January 26 in response to the SKIMS CEO's statement.

The latest sex video issue comes just ten months after Kim stated that Keeping Up with the Kardashians might not have been as successful if it hadn't been for all the attention. "Looking back, probably not," Kim Kardashian said on the KUWTK 20th season reunion in June to moderator Andy Cohen.

The E! Network reality show debuted in 2007, just seven months after Vivid paid $1 million for the 2002 tape from a "third party." According to reports, the aspiring attorney settled her invasion of privacy lawsuit with Vivid for $5 million.

Kim was then asked what she will tell her six children, North, 8, Saint, 6, Chicago, 4, and Psalm, 2, if they find out about their mother's sex tape background. "I haven't had to as of yet," Kim stated, "And luckily I think that so many years have gone on and so many things have happened positively that it really erases that. It is something I have to live with for the rest of my life."

Ian Halperin accused the half-Armenian beauty and her mother, Kris Jenner, of 'engineering the deal' in order to 'deliberately leak' the sex tape for publicity in 2016. In his book Kardashian Dynasty, Halperin stated, "When it comes to selling a sex tape, both parties need to sign off. It is clear that Vivid would not have announced plans to distribute Kim's tape without a clear indication from the family that they would give the go-ahead once they had come to terms on a price."

"All the assertions are false," a spokeswoman for Kim told Page Six at the time. Many attribute Kardashian's success to her former boss Paris Hilton, whose own Vivid Entertainment sex tape made her even more famous in 2004.

However, the 41-year-old celebrity stylist's Fox show 'The Simple Life' debuted six months before her ex-boyfriend Rick Salomon agreed to release their on-camera tryst 1 Night in Paris in 2001. Paris, like Kardashian, agreed to a $400K settlement with Saloman, who had sued her for slander. The Kardashians, a 40-episode reality TV spin-off coming this Thursday, April 14 on Hulu, Disney+ worldwide, and Star+ in Latin America, will give you more of the Calabasas socialite and her famous family.
