LOS ANGELEs, CALIFORNIA: Kim Kardashian recently shared she felt remorse and guilt regarding her past relationship with comedian Pete Davidson. During the premiere of Season 3 of 'The Kardashians,' Kim spoke to her sister Khloe and Scott Disick, Kourtney's ex-boyfriend, about her break-up with the former 'SNL' star.

Kim, 42, who was briefly involved with Davidson from October 2021 to August 2022, said, "There was like, a lot of guilt. He went through a lot because, you know, of my relationship," reported the New York Post. While not explicitly stated, it appeared that she was referring to the impact her ex-husband, Kanye West, had on her romantic involvement with the 'Bupkis' star.

Kim Kardashian's complicated love life

Kim and West's divorce was finalized in November 2022, after they got married in 2014. During their separation, the 'Stronger' rapper took to social media to criticize Davidson. In now-deleted posts, he shared memes and rants, nicknaming the comedian "skete." In February 2022, amidst other controversial statements, West posted, "LOOK AT THIS D–KHEAD," targeting Davidson, sources reportedly said.

'I’m just waiting for that person'

While going on an antisemitic rant on social media, which the Kardashians called “never ok or excusable,” the rapper released a diss track aimed at Davidson called 'My Life Was Never Easy,' featuring lyrics about beating Davidson. In the music video for 'Easy', West took things a step further by depicting the kidnapping and burial of a fictionalized version of Davidson.

Davidson, known for his relationships with several high-profile women including Ariana Grande, Kate Beckinsale and Emily Ratajkowski, found himself on the receiving end of West's attacks while dating Kim.

All of these attacks left Kim feeling "guilty" for the treatment Davidson endured from her ex-husband. The reality TV star emphasized that her future partner should be someone capable of handling all aspects of her life, including the drama stemming from her rapper ex-husband. She said, "My person will be like, f**k all of. Like, it’s gonna be hard, but we’re together, and we’re gonna like, do this, so I’m just waiting for that person.”
