Kim Kardashian pays tribute to father Robert, posts handwritten notes on FB and says she misses him

The singer was 22 when her father died at the age of 59 from oesophagal cancer in 2003.

'Keeping Up with the Kardashians' star Kim Kardashian West took a walk down memory lane with her massive 148 million social media followers on September 20. She was remembering and paying tributes to her late father Robert Sr. 

She said, "I know I’m posting this early but you’re so heavy on my mind tonight. Happy Father’s Day to the best dad in the world. I miss you so much dad", she wrote on her FB post. 

The 38-year-old reminisced by posting handwritten notes and cards exchanged between her and her lawyer father. "I just want you to know how much I appreciate everything you do for me," Kim wrote in a 2002 greeting card marked "incredibly spoiled." 

"I love working for you [at your firm]! I love you and happy Father's day!" 

Apparently, in 1991, the father of the Kardashians would always leave Kardashian "notes when we lived together" before he divorced their momager, Kris Jenner. Four years later, the reality star would "snoop through his papers and the evidence books during the OJ (Simpson double murder) trial."

"I was obsessed. I would go through everything on the weekends when they weren't around. I was 14. And he was like, 'You know this is super stressful, so you shouldn't be snooping around in here.'"

"I wanted to [pursue a law degree] because I feel like the more that I know, the more I can really do and change [in criminal justice reform]." She now spends 18 hours a week studying law under the guidance of Van Jones, Jessica Jackson, and Erin Haney, so that she can pass the California State Bar in 2024. 

Kim was 22 when Robert died at the age of 59 from oesophagal cancer in 2003. The reality star's loss was one of the reasons that she bonded with rapper Kanye West so well. His mother Donda died of botched liposuction and breast reduction in 2007. Kardashian and Kanye got married in 2014 after two years of being together. They are parents to daughters North, 6, and Chicago, 20 months; and sons Saint, 3, and Psalm, 4 months.
