Will Kim Kardashian-Kanye West's Sunday Service return soon? Internet says 'people are dying' due to pandemic
Although the novel coronavirus's impact continues to be felt, many people are going back to leading their normal lives. One recent incident that has left many wondering and shocked some, Kim Kardashian has hinted the return of her family's newfangled tradition of 'Sunday Service'. The 'Keeping Up With the Kardashians' star shared a picture of an empty field on a hilltop on her Twitter account and wrote, "Guess what's back!!!", perhaps referring to her family's weekly tradition making a comeback.

Kim and husband Kanye West started their 'Sunday Service' in January 2019. The event is popularized through an unofficial Instagram account, which also features performances by Kanye. The clips show him rapping the gospel version of many of his songs, backed up by the choir. For the uninitiated, the rapper had expressed his interest in started a church of his own quite some time back. He had stated in an episode of 'KUWTK' from February 2019, "I had the idea of making a church before, but I really was sketching it out — and then 2019, I was like, I'm not letting a Sunday go by without making this", reports Insider.
Meanwhile, Kim had said that their Sunday routine was started for Kanye's "close friends and family." She said, "It's just really about the music and about healing." The singer has reportedly performed songs including 'Jesus Walks', 'Ultralight Beam', 'Reborn'/ 'Violent Crimes' and 'I Wonder'. Kanye has also served as the producer or conductor on their 'Sunday Service'.
Rumors are rife that Kanye has been performing unreleased songs from his forthcoming album 'Yandhi' at the Sunday event. Speculations also suggest that the Sunday event has partnered with Adidas, as Kim has used the brand's hashtags in her tweets related to 'Sunday Service'. According to reports, the majority of the services have taken place at the Adidas North American headquarters in Portland.
Members of the Kardashian clan are among the regular attendees, while the event has also been graced by other celebrities including David Letterman, Katy Perry, and Courtney Love. Their eldest child North is seen dancing to several of her father's performances from the event.

While Kim seems excited about 'Sunday Service' returning, if that's what her tweet was hinting at, fans on Twitter have expressed mixed views, especially because of the ongoing global health crisis. Many fans have noted that the 'Sunday Service' could help Kanye feel better, after his recent experience with public meltdowns and twitter rants.
