Game 7 of the National League Championship Series between Los Angeles Dodgers and Atlanta Braves was everything fans would have wanted to see. Kiké Hernandez was called to pinch-hit for Joc Pederson and Hernandez hit a ball well over 400 feet to tie the game at 3-3, according to a report by Fansided. The home run was followed up by a double. The report added that Hernandez’s showcase has the potential to go down in Dodgers tradition if they are able to win this game.

Fans were seen discussing Hernandaz on Twitter as well. One user said, “Kiké Hernandez hit one out of the park and then hit one out of the socket.” Another said, “I cried when Kike Hernandez hit that homerun.” One user tweeted, “Kike Hernandez is such a fun player to watch.” A user shared, “Mannnnn all I was waiting on was Kike Hernandez to come on the TV and my man delivered fasho.”

The player is also doing well on the personal front. He is married to Mariana Vicente. According to Busted Coverage, she won Miss Universe Puerto Rico 2010 and was in the top-10 finish at the Miss Universe pageant. She was also been a part of the ‘American Horror Story’ series – ‘Coven’ and ‘Freak Show’.

They got engaged in 2017 and Hernandez had posted some photos of the special moment with the caption, “I'm gonna marry the woman of my dreams!!!!!!”. They got married in 2018. He gave a sneak peek of the special occasion with the caption: “It would’ve been nice for this rehearsal thing to tell me how much crying there was gonna be!! #BestWeekendEver”

They recently announced that they are expecting a baby on Twitter. In the post, Hernandez was wearing a fake belly mold and in photo was his wife holding a baby cloth which read ‘Hello, I’m new here’. He captioned the tweet, “IT WORKS!!!!!!!!! Bebé Hernández Vicente coming soon!! #GirlDad.”

On the game front, more good news arrived, as The New York Times reported that the Dodgers won the game and are headed back to the World Series -- the third time in four years. They beat the Atlanta Braves, 4-3, and will play the Tampa Bay Rays in the World Series.

The report stated that it is the 21st N.L. pennant for the Dodgers, dating to the Brooklyn squad that first went to the World Series in 1916. According to NYT, in the seventh inning, Cody Bellinger drove a fastball from Chris Martin into the right field stands to put the Dodgers up for good.

It is also notes that even though the Dodgers have enjoyed success over the past few years, winning eight consecutive N.L. West titles, they were bounced out of the post-season each year without winning a title.
