SAN FRANCISCO, CALIFORNIA: Kick recently caused a stir with a creative TikTok ad that poked fun at popular Twitch streamer Pokimane. This comes after Pokimane made fun of other Kick streamers. As Kick continues to lure popular personalities like xQc and Amouranth with lucrative partnerships, Pokimane's comments about these crossovers sparked a heated debate.

Pokimane had expressed reservations about joining Kick because she did not want to compromise her morals and ethics. Kick has been questioned because its co-founders have problematic ties to gambling and cryptocurrencies. Pokimane, on the other hand, has supported Twitch's gambling bans. This constant exchange between the two not only attracted the interest of fans and industry experts but also actively involved them in the issue.

'When Pokimane catches a streamer considering Kick'

Kick, the new streaming network, recently made an effort to garner attention and elicit strong reactions. They effectively posted a TikTok advertisement that both entertained and amused fans. They exploited a well-known meme, "Beetlejuice 'What Are You Doing?' Just Hanging Around," to create a humorous environment in which to mock prominent Twitch streamer Pokimane. Pokimane, who had previously insulted streamers considering joining Kick, was teased in this amusing promo.

The ad begins with the statement "When Pokimane catches a streamer considering Kick," setting the tone for a humorous twist. The ad features the hilarious depiction of being caught off guard, as well as Pokimane's amusing ignorance. She finds herself in a circumstance where she catches a streamer while thinking about Kick. A Twitter user posted the ad saying, "These Kick Ads are getting out of control"

'Honestly a banger ad'

The commercial is made even funnier by the use of the "Beetlejuice 'What Are You Doing?' Just Hanging Around" meme. This meme is well-known and associated with amusing and embarrassing situations, making it an excellent choice for a light-hearted punch. By using this meme in its advertising strategy, Kick effectively captures the current cultural attitude. A user wrote, "LOL that’s honestly a banger ad." Another user added praising Kick's promotional skills, "Kick marketing team killing it." One user said, "You gotta give them credit, it’s pretty funny."
