Khloe Kardashian and ex Tristan Thompson reunite after 'unexpected' death
TORONTO, CANADA: After the sudden death of Tristan Thompson's mother Andrea, Khloe Kardashian supported her grieving ex as the pair flew into Toronto. Alongside the NBA star, the reality star was spotted arriving in Canada in a private jet shortly after his mother's death on Thursday evening, January 5.
After suffering a heart attack while at home, Andrea was immediately taken to a local hospital and her death was "unexpected," according to sources, reports Page Six. Experts at the hospital attempted to resuscitate her but their efforts failed. As soon as they heard the news, Thompson and Khloe left Los Angeles to join his family in Canada.

According to the Daily Mail, the youngest Kardashian who ran to support her ex during his time of loss was close to his mother Andrea. The athlete shares his daughter True and a four-month-old son with Khloe. With his ex Jordan Craig, he also shares a six-year-old son named Prince and with Maralee Nichols, the basketballer shares a 13-month-old son named Theo.

The athlete has frequently posted several pictures of himself and his mother on social media making it clear that they were close. Sharing a photo of his mother and his daughter True on Instagram in 2019, Thompson wrote, "GiGi and Baby Trueeee"
Calling his mom a "superhero" and wishing her Mother's Day, Thompson shared a video on Instagram of his mother talking proudly about her athlete son and wrote, "Happy Mother’s Day Mommy! One day isn’t enough to praise and lift you high. Every day is your day. Thank you for all the sacrifices you made for me and my brothers. I love you and I’m so lucky to have been chosen as your son❤️. Not all superheroes wear capes."
Thompson is the eldest of four brothers and his younger brothers are Amari, Dishawn, and Daniel. The four brothers were born to Jamaican parents Andrea and Trevor Thompson. Amari, the athlete's youngest brother has a neurological disorder, a condition that makes him experience seizures almost every day.
Working closely with the organization Epilepsy Toronto, the Amari Thompson Fund founded by the basketball player in 2013 focuses on fundraising and raising awareness to support the epilepsy-affected. His mother Andrea was mostly seen alongside Thompson at events organized for the charitable cause.
