Khloe Kardashian has been branded a hypocrite after she advocated for saving wild animals amid the growing bushfire wreaking havoc in Australia after a fan dug up a photo of her wearing an outfit made of real animal fur.

It all started when the 35-year-old 'Keeping Up With The Kardashians' star told her followers to "wake up" and "save the animals" following the raging wildfires Down Under. One fan shared a post of the mother-of-one's Halloween costume - in which she had dressed as Cruella De Vil, the famous Disney villain. The fan claimed that Khloe was already killing animals with her choice to wear fur.

''Oh my God, 500 million animals have died! Which is what, a few less than for your fur coats and accessories, @khloekardashian? So sad when animals die during fire, much better when they're anally and vaginally electrocuted and they're skin is ripped off their bodies (sometimes even when their conscious!) for nothing other than your vanity!" the fan captioned the post.

When the picture started to go viral, Khloe attempted to defend herself in a long reply that has since been deleted by the reality star, in which she denied the fact that her dress was made of real fur.

"I am wearing a Halloween costume. It's not real fur. But keep spreading your vile hate instead of focusing on real issues," she claimed. "Why must people assume and attack so quickly? You have some clear frustrations darling and they are completely misdirected. My advice to you would be, don't attack people in general. But if you choose to waste your energy on attacking a complete stranger then at least know all of your information prior. Happy 2020."

After Khloe's reply, other fans were quick to pull up a tweet from the designer, Daniel's Leather, who made her outfit. In the post shared on November 1, Leather claimed that the outfit had been made using fox and mink fur.

"@khloekardashian came to me with this vision i knew it will not be an easy task but i am so glad that the final product came out perfect . Also wanna thank@janellermiller for her help in this imp project . I am so proud Of the fact that anytime it's a huge project people always approach daniels leather . [sic]" he said.
