Khloe Kardashian reveals Tristan Thompson proposed right before paternity scandal broke, she said no
HIDDEN HILLS, CALIFORNIA: Khloe Kardashian has revealed some important news regarding her and now-ex boyfriend Canadian-American professional basketball player, Tristan Thompson's relationship, including his plans for the future, during the Thursday, September 29, episode of Hulu’s 'The Kardashians'. Khloe reportedly revealed that the basketball star had proposed to her right before the paternity scandal broke.
The CEO of Good American explains why she can't make sense of Tristan's actions. “We were in the best place. So when we are in the peak of our relationship you go ahead and cheat on me? I don’t even want to know what you do on the worst of our relationship,” Khloe told her sister Kim, adding, “I am just like, ‘Shame on me,’ almost. I know better and I didn’t do better because I had so much hope and faith.”

The 41-year-old SKIMS founder replied, “One of the lessons [from this] is you can’t worry about what is humiliating. I mean the fact that he proposed and you never told us and I asked him the night after I thought it happened and he said, ‘I did it months ago. She didn’t tell you guys?'”
Khloe felt that the NBA player's proposal came at an inappropriate time, which was the primary reason why she did not accept. “I said I need to make sure this is a totally different relationship because I want to be proud to say I am engaged to anyone. That is why I said, ‘I am not comfortable accepting this because I am not excited to tell my family,'” she said, adding. “And as hurtful as it was for him to hear it was the truth. I would never accept something and give someone false hope.”
It all started in September 2016 when the two started dating, and by September 2017, they revealed they were expecting their first child together. Tristan was accused of cheating on his then-pregnant girlfriend with another women just days before the birth of their daughter True in 2018. Khloe and Tristan broke up in February 2019 after he kissed Kylie Jenner's ex-best pal Jordyn Woods. By August of 2020, reports said they were trying to mend bridges. However, they ended things once more within a year but by Agust 2021, they were completely done. The final nail in the ocffin was when Tristan confessed that he had fathered a child with Houston-based trainer Maralee Nichols. This shocking news was revealed at the end of Season 1 of 'The Kardashians'. This happened while he was still with Khloe, trying to work through their differences.
