Comedian Kevin Hart has broken his silence about the September car crash that left him with a horrific back injury.

Hart released a video in which he showed his physical therapy post the car crash which took place in Calabasas, California when a friend was driving his 1970 Plymouth Barracuda.

In the video, Hart can be heard saying, "Basically, what you realize is that you're not in control. No matter how much you think you're in control, you're not in control".

"When God talks, you gotta listen," he continued as he is seen struggling to walk again post being bedridden for weeks. "Some of the craziest things that happen to you end up being the things that you needed the most. And in this case, I honestly feel like God basically told me to sit down," Hart shared.

"After my accident, I see things differently, I see life from a whole new perspective. My appreciation for life is through the roof," Hart reflected.

He went on to thank his family, friends, fans, and God as he goes on with his recovery.

Towards the end of the video, a doctor can be seen telling him that it will be a full year before Hart makes a total recovery.

Earlier this month, Hart had released his first statement where he said that he had 'nothing but love' for the driver Jared Black and wished him and his fiance Rebecca Broxterman a speedy recovery.

Hart was traveling with Black and Broxterman when their car crashed into a ditch in September leaving Hart with major back injuries.

As reported by EW, Hart's attorney Andrew Brettler shared that Hart will not be able to get back to work fully until early next year. "While he's doing a little work here and there for the film, he doesn't expect to be fully back to work until the new year," the attorney had shared.
