JFK's lesbian granddaughter Rose Schlossberg making family 'uncomfortable' with decision to welcome baby
HYANNIS, MASSACHUSETTS: It is safe to say that the Kennedys are one of the country's most scrutinized families as they continue to dabble in the top echelons of US politics courtesy of the youngest generation. Harvard graduate Jack Schlossberg is now pursuing a political career, following in the footsteps of his legendary grandfather, former President John F Kennedy.
While Jack and his author sister Tatiana Schlossberg seem determined to continue the family's legacy of serving the public, their sibling Rose has opted to stay away from the limelight, appearing to shun the Kennedys' celebrity status. She is now testing the bonds of the political dynasty by deciding to welcome a baby with her wife. The dead ringer for Jackie O notably caused a rift in the family last year when she tied the knot with female restauranteur Rory McAuliffe, 32, in California.

Rose was rocking the boat once again by deciding to undergo in vitro fertilization, sources told Radar Online. "Rose and Rory are on the lookout for the perfect guy to serve as a sperm donor," an insider spilled.
'Relatives remain uncomfortable'
Her mother, Caroline Kennedy, 65, who serves as the US ambassador to Australia, is apparently thrilled about the prospect of becoming a grandmother for the second time, but others in the family are not so enthusiastic, sources claimed. "Many of them are torn because they are devout Catholics," the insider explained, adding, "In fact, several of the relatives, including family matriarch Ethel Kennedy, refused to attend Rose's wedding. Now, there are even more family conflicts about bringing a baby into a same-sex marriage." Regardless, Rose and Rory are looking forward to expanding the famous family by one. "Their hope is to have a baby boy, which the couple would name John after both Rose's late uncle, John F Kennedy Jr, and grandfather," claimed the source. "Still, some of her stuffier relatives remain uncomfortable with her family dynamic."
Rose Schlossberg keeps a low profile
It's worth noting that President Kennedy's granddaughter lives a private life with her wife after shunning the family's glamor, wealth, and privilege so she can remain out of the spotlight. She has opted for a low profile despite hailing from one of the most famous families in American history. However, it wasn't always like that since Rose once dabbled in a movie career as an actress and writer. She withdrew from the public eye in recent years to focus on her life with her significant other and growing their family.
It's also worth noting that Rose had a close bond with her grandmother Jacqueline “Jackie” Kennedy Onassis before her death. The former first lady is said to have been a regular presence in her granddaughter's life, right up until her death in May 1994, when Rose was just 5. Jackie O visited the Schlossbergs’ apartment on a regular basis for what she called a “roll around” with baby Rose, according to the New York Post. When Rose grew up a little, “Grand Jackie” would take her on outings to playgrounds and museums, including the Met, which was right across the street from Jackie's apartment.
And when Rose was just a tot, Jackie was reportedly the only grandparent to attend her class field trip, per the New York Post.
