Kendra Wilkinson's BFF Jessica Hall reveals she is in 'great spirits' after filing for divorce with Hank Baskett
Kendra Wilkinson is moving on with her life after her split with husband Hank Baskett, and she has her best friend Jessica Hall to cheer her on her journey. In a recent interview with Us Weekly, Hall dished about how well her friend is doing after her divorce filings that took place recently.
The star told the publication that Wilkinson is “doing great and in great spirits" after her divorce filing earlier this month.
“Kendra is a very strong woman, and I get to experience first-hand what an amazing, caring mom she is and how she always places her children first. She is fierce, and will always come through any challenges!” Hall told Us Weekly at her Sleepless Mom blog launch.
“I was excited to have all of my friends come and celebrate this exciting launch for me,” Hall added.
The couple, who tied the knot in 2009, took the decision to split and filed their divorce citing irreconcilable differences, according to court documents. The former playmate shares two kids with Baskett: son Hank IV and daughter Alijah Mary, and has filed for joint legal and physical custody of the children.
Wilkinson has also put in a request seeking the restoration of her maiden name, according to the documents. The reality star was an emotional wreck when she made the decision to break off her marriage, and literally cried tears while explaining her side of the story.
“Ten years. I did everything I could. It wasn’t good enough. I will always love him. My heart will always remain open for him,” she said through tears on her Instagram at the time. “I believed him forever. I really did. Guess it’s just not meant to be. I’m so scared. I have to get strong for my kids.”
But it looks like the reality star is now moving on in life, and has made a drastic change in her life corresponding to the same. Wilkinson recently chopped off her golden locks and went for a different hair color, basically making herself a brunette.
"Been wanting to experiment like this for a long time n here it is. So excited for this change but I’ll always stay true to my roots. 😜😜 @salonbenjamin @_jafra_ @peloangelo," she captioned the image of herself sporting her new hair color. She later told her followers, "I'm not here tryin' to impress anyone but myself. F--k it all. I'm excited."
