Kendall and Kylie Jenner go on maskless hugging spree at Justin Bieber and Hailey Baldwin's norm-flouting party
While Los Angeles Mayor Eric Garcetti warned city residents against large social gatherings amid Covid-19 lockdown, reality stars Kendall and Kylie Jenner were seen partying it up at Justin Bieber and Hailey Baldwin's Beverly Hills home on Sunday, August 23, during which most of the celebrity guests were seen not following any of the social distancing rules.
The Jenner sisters arrived at Bieber's 6,132-square-foot sprawling Monterey Colonial home, which the singer bought for $8.5 million and partied into the night. In the various photos published by Daily Mail, at no point during the bash were the pair seen wearing a face mask. They were also seen hugging other guests at the party and chomping on snacks as they sat close to their celeb friends.
Both of them arrived in their respective chauffeur-driven vehicles. Kendall donned a printed off-the-shoulder top and high slung leather trousers that perfectly accentuated her lean, toned figure as she gave a double thumbs up to the onlookers. She completed her look with a pair of stiletto-heeled boots and a handbag.
Her sister, the cosmetics mogul, on the other hand, kept her look low key, in keeping with the mood of the party and paired her off-the-shoulder top with a pair of casual boot cut jeans. She opted for a sling bag and stylish heels along with the outfit.
One of the celebrities who attended the party and actually made an effort to keep with the social distancing measures was Jaden Smith model Winnie Harlow. She arrived at the party in a blue gym vest and matching leggings, along with a black face mask.
Bieber, who was the host, was dressed down in casual pajamas as he welcomed is guests with warm hugs as they were treated to drinks, French fries, and chicken outside his house. Even he and his wife, Baldwin, was seen without wearing masks as they greeted their celebrity friends.
Under the current Los Angeles County's health order for the pandemic, gatherings hat contain people from different households are prohibited. The mayor has vowed to cut off utilities in three LA homes for hosting house parties "in violation of public health orders" so far. Los Angeles Police Chief Michel Moore said that they agreed with health officials that parties should not be occurring during the pandemic. He added that police would continue citing people who show a "blatant disregard" for the rules in place. Citations were issued for at least six parties in Hollywood, two in West LA and one each in Wilshire, Hollenbeck, and the West Valley divisions. The police have not released a specific number of homes that citations were served so far.
Garcetti's announcement to cut power was issued following a huge house party that took place at a mansion on Mulholland Drive that ended in a fatal shooting on August 3.
