Kendall Jenner beats sister Kylie as highest-paid female Instagrammer, rakes in $15.9 million
Kendall Jenner has dethroned her sister Kylie as the highest-paid female Instagrammer in 2019. According to reports, the 24-year-old model is said to have brought in a fortune of around $15.9 million over the last 12 months.
According to Buzz Bingo, Kendall’s earnings put her third on the list, behind Cristiano Ronaldo who topped with $47.8 million. Soccer player Lionel Messi was at the second spot with a $22.3 million earning. Soccer star David Beckham also made it to the list with an estimated $10.7 million in earnings from Instagram in 2019.
Kendall’s riches came from sponsors including Calvin Klein, skincare brand Proactiv, Formawell Beauty and Tiffany & Co. She reportedly earned four times more than her younger sister Kylie, who lagged behind in eighth place with $3.8 million.
The only model who managed to bring in over $1 million was California native Emily Ratajkowski, per a Yahoo! report. She made $1.13 million while Bella Hadid made only $949,000. Pop star Selena Gomez was the second-highest female earner with $8 million. She had reportedly got nine ads through her Instagram.
While Kendall may have moved ahead of Kylie on Instagram, the latter really does not need the money. The 22-year-old became the world's youngest billionaire in 2019, thanks to Kylie Cosmetics brand that she had founded in 2015. This year, she launched Kylie Skin, a line of skincare products that are supposed to be "cruelty-free, gluten-free, sulfate-free, paraben-free, vegan and dermatologist tested".
Additionally, while Kylie only delivered three promotional posts on Instagram this year, they reportedly earned her $611,000 per post. The list further features Khloe Kardashian and Priyanka Chopra at numbers four and five respectively.
Kylie has 155 million Instagram followers, while Kendall has only 120 million.
