Kristin Cavallari's ex BFF Kelly Henderson is hanging out with Jay Cutler and fans say 'This is shady as hell'
Jay Cutler and Kristin Cavallari recently announced their separation on Instagram, putting an end to their decade long romance. Their divorce hasn't been finalized as of yet but each day comes with messier details about their relationship.
From insiders spilling details about their relationship being full of cheating allegations against each other to Cutler belittling her in front of others often making her cry, their dirty linen is being wrung out in public. A new report also suggested Cavallari claiming in court papers that Cutler is "punishing" her by not releasing the money she was counting on to buy a new house and a new detail reveals itself yet again.
Cavallari's ex-best friend, Kelly Henderson, has sparked off speculations amongst fans that she is spending time with 'The Hills' alum's estranged husband, less than one week the latter and the former NFL player announced their split.
Henderson, 37, took to Instagram on Friday, May 1, to share a photo of herself enjoying a glass of wine with a setting sun in front of her along with a mystery man by her side. The celebrity stylist only photographed her arm and hand holding her glass, while a man’s legs, arm, and hand were visible in the shot.“Much needed happy hour. Happy Friday y’all,” Kelly captioned the cozy-looking picture.
But vigilant fans noticed one major detail that may directly hint at the anonymous man's identity. The man wore a beaded bracelet similar to the one Jay, 37, is often seen wearing. He can be seen wearing the bracelets in several photos on his Instagram page, and fans were quick to call it out in the comments of Kelly’s post.
“100% Jay’s arm/bracelet. This is shady as hell!” one fan wrote. “Def [sic] Jay Cutler. Look back at his Instagram, it’s his bracelet,” a separate follower added. Another commented, “If this isn’t Jay, you’re thirsty. If it is … yikes.”
Another one commented, "You knew exactly what posting this would do. So thirsty. 1. If it’s not him you knew people would think that 2. If it is him then it just shows everyone how desperate you are that you couldn’t find a man not married"
While another fan added, "Guys I really doubt this is actually Jay. She playing with you with those bracelets tho! Kinda confirms what Kristin said..."
But other fans came to Henderson's defense. “No way is Jay’s calf that big,” one fan wrote. “Chill out. She’s been quarantining with this guy for weeks. Jay just got back from the Bahamas in April,” one Instagram user pointed out. Another one added, "Ok she had posts saying she was with her boyfriend when jay was still in the Bahamas with his family. People calm down."
Similar to the above comments, a source told E!that the man in the photo is not Cutler. "This is 100 percent not Jay. This is Kelly seeking attention. That's all this is," the insider explained. "It's very sad that she felt the need to do this for some followers."
Moreover, the insider also mentioned that the former NFL player would not be this careless over social media. "Jay is not involved with Kelly. Even if he were, he would never risk his position in the divorce by doing something as public as this." added the source.
Henderson-Cutler link-up rumors are not new. Talks of an alleged romance between the two did the rounds during Season 2 of Kristin’s E! reality TV series, 'Very Cavallari'. Although the blonde beauty said she didn’t believe the allegations “for one second,” she still confronted her friend on season 3.
“It wasn’t the actual accusations of them having an affair that made me upset, it was how Kelly went about it,” the Laguna Beach alum said on the show. “Why [does she] want to post about [my husband]? To get more attention about it. … If I was accused of having an affair with your husband, I wouldn’t say his f–king name on social media. Like, come on.”
The former pals had a falling out shortly after the incident.
While Kelly has insisted the rumors were “not true” and the “most f—king stupid thing ever,” her latest photo with the mystery man exactly managed to stir up the same speculations. This might also be because it comes less than a week after Jay and Kristin announced their split on Instagram.
“With great sadness, after 10 years together we have come to a loving conclusion to get a divorce,” read their joint statement. “We have nothing but love and respect for one another and are deeply grateful for the years shared, memories made, and the children we are so proud of. This is just the situation of two people growing apart. We ask everyone to respect our privacy as we navigate this difficult time within our family.”
