Keith Olbermann says Donald Trump 'lost his mind and must be arrested', Internet labels him 'mad president'
Former MSNBC commentator Keith Olbermann on Thursday, November 5, took to social media, saying President Donald Trump should be arrested immediately and also removed from the office. He had shared two tweets on Twitter and the first tweet read, "It is necessary to remove, and arrest, the president of the United States. Tonight."
He then posted another tweet around 15 minutes later which read, "TRUMP HAS LOST HIS MIND AND MUST BE REMOVED, TONIGHT. The coup attempt, we can survive. A mentally incompetent president, we may not. Instead, he will stay, and when he concedes he will simultaneously begin a campaign for 2024."

After Vice President Mike Pence took to Twitter, "I Stand With President @realDonaldTrump." In response to this, Olbermann had tweeted, "Then you need to be arrested and removed tonight as well."
Many social media users seemed to be in agreement with him. One such user shared, "It definitely a low point in presidential history. 9/11 was a different kind of low point. It is a sad day for our nation. Trump is undermining everything every soldier ever died for. This is unacceptable."
Another user commented, "This is treason. The office is bigger than the man and he is willing to destroy everything people have literally died for because he is losing. This is a mad president. Shame on him. Shame." Yet another shared, "I think that abomination of a speech is the darkest day of our generation's democracy. I can't believe I'm saying but worse that 9/11. He's attacking our democracy because he's a sore loser and doesn't even know the actual process of vote counting and validation."

There were some social media users who were left outraged at his comments and expressed the same. One such user shared, "So, does Keith just sit in a room with an unplugged camera all day screaming incoherently about arresting people?" Another user commented, "You are an incredibly angry man, Mr. Olberman. How is it that you could allow one human being—of the more than 7 billion people on this planet—to inhabit your mind so as to affect you the way President Trump apparently does? Pitiable."

We had earlier reported that Olbermann had sparked mayhem with his comments on Trump's recent interview. "Yes @realDonaldTrump has always been, will always be, and on the day of his bid for reelection, still is: a whiny little Kunta Kinte," Olbermann had said in a since-deleted tweet.
He was slammed for making racial slurs against Trump by social media after which he clarified his stance and said, "Just logged back in: I apologize for my previous subtweet of this. I was using an old 70's-80's technique for calling somebody a c*** without writing/saying c***, just using a sound-alike to call Trump a c*** Deleting previous, largely because this one clarifies the c*** part."
A lawyer Exavier Pope tweeted the meaning of the racial slur and said, "Kunta Kinte was an African slave who was beat until he admitted his name was the one given to him by his white masters."
