From Lady Gaga and John Legend to Demi Lovato and Bruce Springsteen, a lot of musicians have openly slammed the US President Donald Trump on various occasions and joining the league is now American singer-songwriter Kehlani. The 25-year-old crooner took to her official Twitter account on the day of the election i.e. November 3, 2020 (Tuesday), and made it very clear to her followers that she won’t be friends with anybody who supports Trump.

Kehlani re-tweeted a text image from her influencer friend, Farren Fucci’s original tweet, which had a message for Trump supporters in huge letters, “We are not friends if you support Donald Trump and I mean that.” She captioned the re-tweet with a simple but effective, “Sincerely.”

Kehlani, who has 2.1 million followers on Twitter, got a prompt reaction from her fans over her re-tweet. One supported the singer and said, “I am just going to say this just because I want to... You shouldn't not be friends with someone off of there views. Everyone has there own opinions some people just need to grow up and respect peoples opinions/views even if you don't agree with them.” One tweeted, “It's the way his supporters try to gaslight us into believing WE'RE the delusional ones, or being mislead, or just gonna hate bandwagon like no baby this man REALLY EVIL, and he ain't even hiding it.” Another shared, “this is so immature lemme just unfollowed rq wtf and s/o to Tory.”  One individual made fun of the singer and posted, “Didnt know who the hell you were anyways.” One added, “We support a woke queen.”

Just like Kehlani, Lady Gaga has also been vocal about her issues with Trump. She was most recently spotted at a rally in Pennsylvania to support Democratic presidential candidate Joe Biden. While addressing the public, she said made reference to Trump’s history of crude sexual remarks and alleged assaults, as reported by The Guardian. She said, “Vote like your life depends on it, or vote like your children’s lives depends on it, because they do. Everybody, no matter how you identify, now is your chance to vote against Donald Trump, a man who believes his fame gives him the right to grab one of your daughters, or sisters, or mothers or wives by any part of their bodies … Vote for Joe. He’s a good person.” While a few musicians oppose Trump, there are others like Lil Pump, Lil Wayne, Kid Rock and a few more who support the current US president.
