'Beautiful couple!': Fans gush over Keanu Reeves and girlfriend Alexandra Grant
Fans gushed over photos of Keanu Reeves and Alexandra Grant as the statuesque couple enjoyed a night out on Saturday, June 4. In a rare public appearance together, the duo attended the 2022 MOCA Gala held at the Geffen Contemporary at the Museum of Contemporary Art in Los Angeles.
The 'Matrix' star, 57, was snapped with his artist girlfriend, 49, as they held hands and smiled as they walked the red carpet together. Reeves and Grant went public with their relationship in November 2019, making their red carpet 'debut' at the LACMA Art + Film Gala presented by Gucci in L.A.

It's worth noting that the pair have been friends for years and even collaborated on multiple projects, including Reeves' 2011 book 'Ode to Happiness' and 2016's 'Shadows', which was also written by Reeves and featured illustrations by Grant. Fans couldn't help but gush over photos of the couple from their Saturday outing.
"What a beautiful couple! They look so happy And I'm happy for them," one tweeted. "They are so amazing and love each other. Very private but you can tell there's a lot of love and adoration for one another. So happy for them both. Love will always prevail," another wrote. Some applauded Reeves for dating someone "close to his own age" and going against the grain. "God it’s so freaking awesome to see a male actor dating an age-appropriate woman," a comment read. "Wow. A famous male celebrity that has a girlfriend close to his own age. They make a lovely couple," someone else added.
Others fawned over Grant's "natural" appearance. "Finally, thank you Alexandra for looking gorgeous with natural, Unbleached hair!!! Let’s have a movement for grey acceptance. Hair dye is TOXIC!" one wrote. "She must be quite a height, she's wearing flat shoes and still looks a little taller than KR in the recent photo," another chimed in.

Grant's friend Jennifer Tilly told Page Six in February 2020 that the couple had been dating for far longer than the public realized. "I remember a couple of years ago, about a year and a half ago, [Grant] said, 'Keanu Reeves is my boyfriend,' and I'm like, 'Wait. What? What? What?'" 63-year-old Tilly said at the time.
Grant publicly addressed her romance with Reeves for the first time the following month and spoke of the attention she received after they went public with their relationship. "I think every single person I knew called me in the first week of November, and that's fascinating," she told Vogue in March 2020. "But the question I've been asking in all of this is: 'What is the opportunity for good?' "
Grant was asked if she saw herself getting married in the future. "Over a glass of wine … I would love to tell you," the artist responded. "Love at every level is deeply important to my identity. How's that for dodging the question? I do not believe that isolation is the way. There is a period of isolation that I do as a painter, but I deeply value the experience of being in relationships."
Reeves spoke about love in a December appearance on The Drew Barrymore Show. When Barrymore said "I'm not a fighter, I'm a lover," Reeves interjected, "No, no, because if you're a lover, you gotta be a fighter. ... Because if you don't fight for your love, what kind of love do you have." Reeves then got out of his seat laughing and quipped that Barrymore had gotten him "philosophical" about love, People reported.
