Singer and TV personality KeKe Wyatt has stirred up controversy thanks to her frank opinion during a virtual chat on the Bigo Live streaming platform between herself, rapper and model Milan Christopher, and others.

In a clip shared via the Instagram channel @themahnetea, Milan Christopher seems to be talking about how Black people have been “segregated, persecuted, hunted down, killed, stolen from, and humiliated.” Wyatt, however, seems offended by Milan’s commentary. She rolls her eyes and interrupts him to let him know that those experiences weren’t exclusive to the Black community.

Twitter users put up snippets from the conversation that highlighted what Keke had to say about oppression not being "exclusive" to the Black community. One account posting the clips wrote: "KeKe Wyatt & Milan Christopher have a tense discussion about the oppression of Black people".

In the clips, she can be heard saying: "Black people are not the only ones that have gone through that. You have to understand Black people are not the only people that have been oppressed. They are not the only ones, my n**ga. Jewish people have been oppressed, okay. I can keep going. I’m biracial d*ammit! We f**kin oppressed.”

She adds, "Black people done made us feel like sh*t, white people done made us feel like sh*t. You don’t know that life. You don’t know that. So if you want me to be a ignorant a*s n**ga, I will tonight. I don’t want to go there. I think you need to understand sugar, there’s more to life than just being Black, baby.” Wyatt ended her rant saying that while she was a "very nice person", she came out as "Shaquita" when someone brought "the (uses N-word) out of me honey".

Twitter was quick to respond to the clip saying it was time to cancel Wyatt. One tweet said: "Welp!!! Lemme hurry up and listen to Keke Wyatt while it’s still acceptable, cause sis def about to get cancelled", while another user commented: "Y’all go ahead and put KeKe Wyatt with DaniLeigh". Another tweet sarcastically remarked: "Keke wyatt all lives mattering it up I see lol".

According to Twitter users, Wyatt's comments highlighted the fact that she was raised by a White mother. One user posted an old interview with Essense magazine where Wyatt discussed her views on being "25 % Black" and how her White mother frequently used the N-word around her and her sibling since they were young, with the comment: "Keke Wyatt’s head is filled with a box of jellybeans", while another tweet commented: "Keke Wyatt mom is a Yt woman, y’all really surprised?"

Another tweet lamented: "KeKe Wyatt...another lost ass light skin person who what to let everyone know they black but spew anti black shit smh. Lame," while others posted her old tweets supporting Black Lives Matter protest, with the comment: "In light of today's Keke Wyatt Twitter rage let me throw a little gasoline...so is she for or against #BlackLivesMatter?"  Another user just had one thing to say about the whole fiasco: ""Keke Wyatt needs to stick singing and stay out of black people business if she’s going to talk stupid about the truth."
