Kaylee Goncalves' ex creates Insta account for her dog Murphy after it was rescued from Idaho murder house

LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Slain University of Idaho student Kaylee Goncalves’ ex-boyfriend Jack DuCoeur is reportedly behind a newly created Instagram account of her dog, Murphy. In less than two days, the handle, 'murphy_goncalves', has garnered over 48K followers. The first pic posted shows Murphy, a Labradoodle, posing at a waterfront. The caption reads, "Missing my mom every day, but trying to live my best life. I got to admire her beauty in the sky this evening.”
Twenty-one-year-old Kaylee Goncalves was among the four Idaho students who were murdered on November 13, 2022. The others included Ethan Chapin, 20, Xana Kernodle, 20, and Madison Mogen, 21. After a weeks-long investigation, Bryan Kohberger, a 28-year-old criminology student was arrested in connection with the murders on December 30.

Kaylee's mother, Kristi Goncalves, said that Jack is the man behind Murphy's Instagram account, The Independent reported. Murphy was located at the scene of the brutal murder and was initially handed over to animal services. He was later released to DuCoeur, whom Kayle had broken up with before moving to Texas. As per the Goncalves family, Jack and Kaylee continued to share an amicable relationship even after the breakup.
At the time of writing this article, Murphy's Instagram account had seven posts, each of which garnered heartfelt comments from users. One of the posts shows Kaylee and Murphy cuddling together. "I could really use a lazy day with momma," reads the caption.
Commenting on the post, a user wrote, "Awh Jack & Murph thank you for letting us into a little part of your world right now. I hope by sharing him with us, that this allows you to heal in a way. Hugs xx." A second user commented, "Your mom would be so proud. Good boy Murphy good boy. Thank you for sharing some special moments with your mom with us. She’ll be forever missed."
"Thank you for making an Instagram of Murphy keeping his mommas spirit alive! You are a good man Jack. I’m sorry for everything you went through including the horrible accusations. Murphy is so lucky to have you. Many blessings," wrote a third.
