IDAHO, MOSCOW: The horrendous killings of four University of Idaho students on November 13 left the little town of Moscow in shock. The Moscow Police Department identified the victims as Ethan Chapin, Xana Kernodle, Madison Mogen, and Kaylee Goncalves on November 14. The victims' famillies are still grieving and are now the Goncalves family is also facing public harassment.

Recently, Shanon Gray, an attorney representing the Goncalves family, told News Nation that the victim's family is being harrassed by the public. Terming it "completely inappropriate," the lawyer slammed those responsible for the harrassment. Gray then shifted his attention to how the case was being handled and revealed that the Moscow police department's chief investigator has only had two years of experience. "I sent an email over to the police department asking for them to send some credentials over, and their response was that its personal records."

Gray also pointed out that a newly released video shows Kaylee and Madison Mogen walking with the same man believed to be in the food truck video. That man, according to Gray, is a bartender at the Corner Club where the girls were that night before they were murdered. However, this man is now not a suspect. Gray added that despite any frustrations, “you have to try to trust the investigation.” He told News Nation, "they’ve made a lot of decisions about potential people that they might be interested in and clearing them. As of right now, it sounds like they’ve cleared that individual. And that’s really the only information that we have."

Previously, Chief James Fry of the Moscow Police Department shot down a few theories regarding the case going cold. However, there has been no suspect in the murder of four University of Idaho students that occurred more than a month ago, as reported by MEAWW. The FBI is assisting the Moscow Police Department in its investigation of the crime. Hours and hours of the footage provided by nearby property owners and business owners are being combed through by an army of experts looking for any leads. According to insiders, investigators can also study cell tower data with FBI's assistance to identify whose phones were in the vicinity.

The small police department, which has only roughly 60 staff members and 37 sworn-in police officers as of 2019, is still in charge of leading the investigation. To the dismay of the families of the victims, the department has not yet released a profile of the perpetrator or provided more than the absolute minimum of information regarding the case. Additionally, the investigation has been hampered by unfounded notions spread online by amateur sleuths, and authorities have already warned against false information being spread about the case and have threatened to take action against those who are harrassing people connected to the case.
