Katy Perry and Orlando Bloom have postponed their wedding as they are unable to finalize the venue they want to get married in.

A source close to the couple and who spoke to US Weekly, all is well between the 'Dark Horse' singer, 35, and 'The Pirates Of The Caribbean' actor, 42, as far as their relationship is concerned and the delay in their nuptials was solely because the pair had hit a bump when it came to planning their big day.

“They changed the timing due to the location they want,” said the insider. “They’re beyond in love. They’re going to have one local wedding party, and the other will be a destination wedding party."

However, a delayed wedding also meant a postponement in planning a family together - something that the couple is very keen on doing immediately after tying the knot.

“Katy wants to have her first kid soon after they get married," the insider said.

The pair started dating in 2016, and announced their engagement on February 14, 2019. While Katy was previously married to Russell Brand from 2010 to 2012 and dated John Mayer on and off from 2012 to 2013, Orlando split with his ex-wife Miranda Kerr in 2013. The SAG award winner shares an 8-year-old son, Flynn, with her.

Earlier this month, Orlando said that he could not wait to have more kids, Daily Mail reported.

"I really want to enjoy family and friends, my beautiful son, and have more kids," he said. "I want to make sure when I embark on that, it’s with my heart full and very clear about the reality of what that means, as opposed to some romantic idea of what it means to be in a relationship."

"Because I think when you’re younger, we’ve all been sold this Hollywood idea of love and relationships, marriage and kids, and actually, what it really takes is communication and compromise, so life looks like somebody who’s willing to communicate and find joy in the simple and small moments," he added.
