Orlando Bloom and Katy Perry can't wait to start a family of their own: 'I love that she's great with kids'
Following four years of on and off dating, Orlando Bloom finally put a ring on Katy Perry's finger earlier this year on Valentine's Day. The couple has been highly vocal about their plans after that.
In an interview with The Mirror, 'The Lord of the Rings' actor shared that he and Perry are looking forward to starting a family of their own, as soon as they get married. The 'ET' singer, who Bloom refers to as "a kid", is thrilled about becoming a mother too.
The actor said, "Listen, I love kids, I love that she is great with kids and it would be a wonderful thing. We are shooting for that. I mean, she's like a kid so she's unbelievable to kids."
He added that during the summer vacations, while their families are together, the singer keeps herself occupied with the kids. In his previous interview with HollywoodLife, Bloom talked at length about his perception of marriage and children.
He said, "I think when you're younger, we've all been sold this Hollywood idea of love and relationships, marriage and kids. Actually, what it really takes is communication and compromise, so life looks like somebody who's willing to communicate and find joy in the simple and small moments."
"Both Katy and Orlando are very aware this isn’t their first rodeo, but they also realize it's still important because they want to share their love for each other with those they love together," a source said.
Although neither Parry nor Bloom have discussed anything about the wedding destination or dates, reports afloat suggest that they are planning on having two weddings. A local and an international one.
Meanwhile, the 'Roar' singer recently celebrated her 35th birthday by taking off to Egypt with her fiancé and a group of close friends. We can only wait and wonder what destination the star couple will choose to get wed.
