Katy Perry beat Taylor Swift and Beyonce in 2018 by topping Forbes’ annual ranking of the highest-paid female musicians by earning around $83M dollars between June 2017 and July 2018.

It wasn't just what she profited in a year that placed her atop, but the majority of her actual earning came from concerts, according to Rolling Stone. Besides tours that ran for 80 days, making millions, the ‘Roar’ singer went on to earn a hefty chunk by playing the judge on hit reality singing show ‘American Idol’.

And what would she do with the heavy paychecks? Invest in real estate of course. Perry is known for her active involvement in buying and selling of properties in Los Angeles.

One of the previous homes that she sold to the celebrity restauranteur Michael Chow in Hollywood Hills is estimated to be worth $12.704M, according to Heavy.com reports. The neighboring pair of homes reportedly consisted of four bedrooms, nine bathrooms and a rose garden that spreads over two-acres. The spacious house was also known to include amenities such as in house spa, gym, bath and a pool.

However, nothing could beat what the ‘Firework’ singer currently owns with finance Orlando Bloom, as they embrace themselves to become parents to their firstborn soon.

The couple has made sure their current home located in Beverly Hills is well-equipped for when the baby arrives, which is due in the summer of 2020. Perry and Bloom's home stretches up to 5427 square foot and is said to have stars such as Nicole Kidman, Ashton Kutcher, Cameron Diaz and Nicole Richie for neighbors.

Soon, the viewers along with top 20 participants of ‘American Idol’ Season 8 will get a glimpse of her spacious mansion during the season finale which will take place on live streaming from their respective homes.

The Beverly Hills house, which she brought in 2017 for less than $19M, is two-story with five bedrooms and bathrooms. The extravagance also includes an infinity pool within the limits of the property with a driveway that’s about quarter-mile long and could fit up to 20 cars.

Her and Bloom’s wedding, unfortunately, got postponed due to the coronavirus outbreak. But Perry has no qualms about it as she’s taking her time to embrace the stages of motherhood.

One source told E! News, at this point, she isn’t thinking about the wedding and when it will happen. She is just slowing down and trying to enjoy her pregnancy.
