Katie Holmes 'worried sick' about ex Jamie Foxx's medical complication as her calls go unanswered
ATLANTA, GEORGIA: Katie Holmes is "in the dark" about her ex Jamie Foxx's medical complication who was hospitalized during the filming of 'Back in Action' in Atlanta, Georgia. "Katie is worried sick about Jamie," a source revealed.
"She and Jamie didn’t end on the best of terms. But regardless, she is very concerned. Katie is desperate to find out more details but a lot of her calls to their mutual friends are going answered. No one knows what is going on," the source told Radar Online.
'Their lives didn't revolve around each other'
Apparently, Holmes and Foxx made their red-carpet appearance at the 2019 Met Gala together. However, speculation about their split emerged after the 'Day Shift' actor was spotted holding hands with singer Sela Vave, 21.
Following the breakup rumors, an insider close to the actor said he and Holmes "never had a typical relationship," and added, "They have always been incredibly independent, and their lives didn't revolve around each other. They lived separately and in different cities and saw each other occasionally."
Foxx is reportedly at a clinic that offers physical therapy programs
Foxx, who was admitted to a hospital in April following a medical complication during the Netflix film shoot, is reportedly undergoing intense physiotherapy. "The clinic specializes in physical therapy programs to treat injuries or a physical condition that limits or prohibits the ability to walk or walk correctly," an insider revealed to the outlet.
At this particular clinic, people are taught to walk again to aid their recovery. "Jamie would not be at this clinic if he was not impaired in some way as a result of whatever happened to him. But fans should rest assured: Jamie is in the best of care at this type of clinic," said the source.
Foxx's family denied they are 'preparing for the worst'
The media outlet previously reported that the 'Django Unchained' actor's family had been "preparing for the worst" after his health crisis. Foxx's daughter Corinne, 29, then took to Instagram in response to the reports and wrote, "Sad to see how the media runs wild. My father has been out of the hospital for weeks, recuperating. In fact, he was playing pickleball yesterday! Thanks for everyone's prayers and support!", and added, "We have an exciting work announcement coming next week too!".
Giving a hopeful update on the comedian's health, his co-star Porscha Coleman said, "I've talked to people very close to Foxx, [he] is doing well. I hate that the media outlets kept running with the narrative of what was going on without having the proper information," reported ET Online.
