Katie Holmes and Jamie Foxx put split rumors to rest, enjoy romantic stroll in Central Park
They really need to let the world in on their secret already! Katie Holmes and Jamie Foxx, who have been the target of break up rumors ever since the actor reportedly 'declared himself single' at an Oscars after party last month, were recently pictured taking a walk in a New York City park.
The couple, who were thought to have separated, put up quite the show of unity as they strolled through Central Park on Monday, reports Daily Mail. It was definitely a rare public outing for Holmes and Foxx since the two are extremely private about their relationship.
The 'Dawson's Creek' actress and the Oscar-winner wrapped themselves up to face the cold weather before heading towards the Metropolitan Museum Of Art together. The 51-year old 'Robin Hood' star looked stylish but subdued in his black coat, knit hat, and a warm muffler around his neck, finishing up with a pair of black sunglasses.
On the other hand, the 40-year-old actress looked quite the bohemian beauty in a denim Madewell smock over jeans and an off-white sweater. She further added a cozy knit hat secured under her chin, and paired her outfit with a pendant necklace and a red quilted Chanel with a chain strap.
Despite reports of the duo going their different ways, there was no visible strife between them as they strolled around the park. Rumors of the pair splitting started appearing when Foxx described himself as "single" while performing at the Entertainment Studios Gala Supporting Children's Hospital in Los Angeles last month.
Foxx's alleged declaration of his relationship status came hours after he was photographed leaving a pre-Oscars party in Beverley Hills with models Shanina Shaik and Jasmine Tookes on Saturday night which made fans wonder if he and Holmes had split.
Before their Central Park stroll, Holmes and Foxx were last seen lounging on a mega yacht somewhere in Miami in December, after Holmes returned from New Orleans where she was filming her latest movie 'The Secret' based on the popular self-help book by Rhonda Byrne. It was also reported that the couple apparently are used to being away from each other for long periods of time.
A source told ET, "It’s not uncommon for them to go long stretches without seeing each other. And they’re still very, very private. You’re not going to hear or see every time they’re together because they don’t flaunt their relationship in public. They still plan to keep their relationship private. This is what has worked for them and what they are comfortable with. They aren't a couple who is going to stroll down the street holding hands."
