Katie Holmes and Jamie Foxx split months ago after 6 years together: Report
Actors Katie Holmes and Jamie Foxx have reportedly split after being together for six years. The couple, who made their first much talked about red carpet appearance together at the Met Gala 2019, have allegedly not been together for months now.
Foxx was recently spotted with singer Sela Vave at the Bootsy Bellows nightclub in West Hollywood, Los Angeles, August 16. A source confirmed to Page Six that the two have been separated since May. According to the report, "a spy at La Esquina overheard Katie Holmes" confessing to a friend of hers, “What Jamie does is his business — we haven’t been together for months.”
Later, a few friends of Holmes also reportedly confirmed the couple have been separated since May, right after their red carpet appearance together. The two actors had initially denied they were dating in 2013 and Foxx even went to the extent of calling the rumors hilarious.
According to E!News, he had said, "[The rumors] are one hundred percent not true. In fact, it's quite hilarious because we simply danced at a charity event along with a lot of other people." They continued to fuel speculations and rumors until 2018 when the two made their first public appearance together at the Clive Davis’ Pre-Grammys Gala in New York that year.
The two were so wary about making their relationship public that Davis had in fact made fun of Holmes' attempt to stay away from the spotlight at his Pre-Grammy's Gala. Just when Davis was about to give a shoutout to her and Foxx who were on the same table, she left the room but when she came in later, Davis reportedly said, "This lady (Holmes) left the room right when I was going to introduce her, she was sitting at that table right with Jamie Foxx and everyone else. If you’re going to sit together, what better night than tonight."
The 40-year-old 'Dawson Creek' alum reportedly began dating Foxx a year after her divorce from Tom Cruise.
