Supermodel Karlie Kloss and husband Joshua Kushner have reportedly shed a whopping $23.5 million on a mansion they bought recently. The couple who are expecting their first child together will be neighbors with their sister-in-law Ivanka Trump as the president’s daughter and her husband Jared Kushner own a plot only minutes away.

The 24,860-square-foot property was bought by hospitality mogul Keith Menin, reports Page Six. The waterfront property nestles in North Bay Road in Miami Beach boasts 8 bedrooms, 10.5 bathrooms, a “summer kitchen", a wine cellar, and a private gym. Furthermore, the floor-to-ceiling windows maximize the view. According to the Daily Mail, “The couple even arranged for the stylish modern furniture to be included in the sale price, so they won't have to worry about decorating the giant property.” The mansion was built in 2009 and purchased by Manin in 2019.

According to Celebrity net worth, Kloss and Kushner’s alleged net worth is $840 million. While Kloss’s various modeling endeavors have majorly contributed to her total net worth, the majority of Kushner’s sprawling wealth is due to his business accomplishments.

Kloss rose to prominence as Victoria’s Secret Angel in 2013. She has reportedly featured in over 40 Vogue editions and became the second-highest-paid model in 2018. Kloss also served as the host on ‘Project Runway’ replacing Heidi Klum. She has narrated an episode of the Netflix series ‘Explained’. Kloss has endorsed several brands throughout her career including L’Oreal Paris, Jean-Paul Gaultier, Donna Karan among others.

Meanwhile, Kushner funded private equity and venture capital firm Thrive Capital in 2009 and since its founding, it has reportedly raised $750 million from institutional investors, including Princeton University. He is the co-founder of Oscar Health, a health insurance company founded in 2012. Along with his brother Jared and friend Ryan Williams, he co-founded a technology platform called Cadre.

Kloss and Kushner share complicated relationship with in-laws

For the uninitiated, Kloss and Kushner’s relationship was not approved by the latter’s family. Kushner’s brother Jared is married to Ivanka Trump and serves as senior advisor to Donald Trump. However, Kloss and Kushner have publicly supported members of the Democratic candidates at odds with the White House.

Kloss had stated publicly that she wouldn’t vote for Trump. She said, “I’m sure I’m not the only person in this country who does not necessarily agree with their family on politics. I voted as a Democrat in 2016, and I plan to do the same thing in 2020.”

Kloss and Kushner started dating in 2012. The business tycoon proposed to his then-girlfriend in July 2018 and the couple got married in October 2018 in a private ceremony. A source close to the couple told PEOPLE in October that they were expecting their first child together and it isn’t surprising that they bought the new house before welcoming their bundle of joy.
