Kardashians slammed for 'wasteful and disgraceful' behavior as video shows family throwing food at each other
The Kardashians drew ire from online observers after posting a video of the family enjoying a "wasteful and disgraceful" food fight.
Kris Jenner, Corey Gamble, Kourtney and Kim Kardashian were seen engaging in a food fight at Khloe Kardashian's home in a teaser of the upcoming episode of 'Keeping Up With The Kardashians'.
Khloe shared the clip of the fight on Instagram and was immediately inundated with comments from fans who hit out at the billionaire family for their total disregard for those less privileged.
Khloe had hosted a lunch for her family in the scenes from Sunday's episode. However, things soon descended into chaos after her family members decided to start a food fight.
"Am I bothered by this food fight right now? Who the f**k wouldn't be annoyed by this food fight right now?" Khloe said to the camera in a confessional. "This is—in any normal person's world—bizarre, disturbing and unacceptable."
"Listen, you little piece of s**t," Kris is heard telling her daughter Khloe, who responds saying, "You messed with the wrong b***h, Kris Jenner."
Khloe is then heard saying, "If anyone's comfortable with this, I'm gonna question them. This is no way to live."
"No, this is no way to live," Kris acknowledged. "But if you can laugh at this and breathe, then I think you're doing A-ok."
Many fans of the family were not particularly amused by the display.
"Wasting food... All I think is all of that food... I agree heaps of people starving out there and they are throwing it around... Such a vile waste. Not surprised honestly," one fan commented.
"They were supposed to be role models for others... My thoughts exactly," another wrote. "Shameful... All I think is all of that food... Same here... It really makes me think about all those people that can't afford a meal... Yes, such a waste and disrespect to food!"
"100% such a waste. And there's homeless ppl going hungry... Yes, I agree there are people homeless and struggling. They throw food as if its nothing... agree so disgraceful. Thought they had more respect for themselves!" a third person commented. "Even more for those doing it so hard, at this time of the year 'shameful'... Single mothers whit out money no food for their babies."
