Is Kim Kardashian gaslighting Kanye over kids? Rapper lashes out: 'Don't play with me'
We all remember how Kanye West bought a $4.5M mansion near Kim Kardashian’s luxurious pad in Los Angeles’ exclusive Hidden Hills in the last week of December 2021. The Grammy-winning rapper recently shed light on why he pulled off this stunt despite them parting their ways in February. In a recent interview, the ‘Donda’ hitmaker seemingly lashed out at his estranged supermodel wife warning her to "not play" with him.
Kanye West’s latest comments come after the rapper was spotted on multiple dates with actress Julia Fox whereas, Kim Kardashian has also been papped hanging out with her new lover Pete Davidson on several occasions. The 44-year-old rap icon in his latest interview hinted towards Kim gaslighting him over their kids as he revealed that the only reason he moved right across Kim Kardashian's house was that he wanted to be as close to his kids as possible. Kanye and Kim share four kids together namely - North, 8, Saint, 5, Chicago, 3, and Psalm, 2.

Speaking to Hollywood Unlocked CEO and Founder Jason Lee, Kanye West took potshots at Kim Kardashian, saying that no security would keep him from his children. The rap legend then also warned the ‘Keeping Up with the Kardashians’ star that he ain’t staying away from his kids and that she cannot gaslight him. The rapper apparently is not happy over the limited time he is getting to facetime his kids.
“Nothing with my career, with this rap, with this media, with none of that, that’s gonna keep me from my children. And that’s what I want everybody to know,” said the multi-platinum rapper. He added, “Don’t play with me, don’t play with my children. Ain’t no security gonna get in between me and my children and you ain’t gonna gaslight me.” Kanye West’s new single-story ranch home in Hidden Hills is sprawled across 3,600 square feet and flaunts four bedrooms and 2.5 bathrooms.
Is Kanye West moving out of LA?
Despite the rapper making claims of him staying near his kids, it is also being reported that he might shift his base out of LA after he got involved in a brawl with a fan. Kanye came under the radar of LAPD after allegedly punching a fan. Sources spilled the beans to TMZ saying, the incident has slowed down the rapper professionally and he is heading out of LA to focus on his new album and headlining the upcoming Coachella.
Kanye, who now goes by the name of Ye, came under fire for allegedly punching an autograph seeker during an angry meltdown at South Santa Fe Avenue and Bay Street in downtown Los Angeles, outside the Soho Warehouse. Cops are now investigating Kanye in connection with the incident. In a video that surfaced, Ye can be heard shouting, "Get away from me", at a woman who is trying to calm him down. The woman says, 'I am your family" as an enraged Kanye storms away. TMZ reported the woman is Kanye's cousin. What triggered the attack is still unclear. The rapper was reportedly named as a suspect in a battery report taken by the LAPD’s Newton Division on Thursday, January 13.
