Kanye West's 'bipolar breakdown' won't feature on KUWTK as Kim Kardashian doesn't want to exploit it for TRP
If fans of reality TV show 'Keeping Up With The Kardashians' are looking to get a behind the scenes look at what went down after Kanye West went on a manic rant about various members of the Kardashian clan, including his wife, they will be disappointed as the hit series will not be documenting anything related to the rapper's current bipolar episode due to Kim Kardashian's order. Although the Kardashians and the Jenners are used to filming every nitty-gritty incidents of their lives, including delightful hook-ups, painful breakups as well as sibling feuds, they have made exceptions when it comes to sensitive phases of their lives. Since they preserve the right to let their audience into their houses for exclusive views and take them along with them on their personal journeys, they also have the right to refuse to film certain vulnerable parts that they would like to keep secret or not relive down the years.
One such instance is Kanye's apparent mental health issues currently being played out in public, and which has recently become a cause of 'shock' and concern for the entire family. Sources told TMZ that the KKW Beauty mogul did not hesitate in deciding to not have her husband's mental health issue on tape as soon as he went off the rails at his first presidential rally on July 19, after announcing his bid for office, where he openly discussed how Kim had considered aborting North when they were not yet married.
Not only will Kanye's mental issues not be featured as a potential storyline on the show, none of Kim's four children -- North, Saint, Psalm or Chicago -- will be featured on the show for some time as Kim wants to protect them from the ordeal of having their reactions documented, which they might come face-to-face with down the road. The production team has been notified that Kim takes her husband's mental health very seriously and doesn't want it exploited for TRPs.
'KUWTK' has begun shooting after a long hiatus due to the coronavirus pandemic. For now, the family will only be focusing on other storylines to keep the drama alive on their show. The cast and crew of the show were out on Malibu on Wednesday, July 22, for shooting new episodes.
TMZ has also learned that the online chatter about Kanye putting up a fake display of bipolar disorder just to boost publicity ahead of releasing his new album was completely baseless. The mental health issues faced by him were wholly real and he wasn't doing anything for attention.
We previously reported that Kanye is currently "holed up" at his Wyoming ranch inside a "secure bunker". A source shared, "Kanye has a compound at the ranch in Wyoming. He’s had a lot of building work going on there and a lot of it is geared towards security. There’s an underground bunker, a panic room originally built for the family to go to in an emergency, stocked up with food. Kanye’s surrounded himself with a small group of people he trusts, and he doesn’t trust Kim or her family."
