'She’ll be mortified': Kaley Cuoco reflects on how daughter Matilda will react after seeing her pregnancy on TV
NEW YORK CITY, NEW YORK: When it comes to how her daughter Matilda will feel about seeing her mother pregnant on television, Kaley Cuoco has a sense of humor. Matilda will one day be "mortified" to witness her mother pregnant with her on-screen, according to Cuoco.
While expecting her first child the actress filmed Peacock Originals 'Based on a True Story'. The 'Big Bang Theory' alum, gave birth to her first child with actor Tom Pelphrey on March 30, 2023. She joked during an interview with People where she stated that she thinks Matilda might feel embarrassed in the future upon seeing her mother's baby bump on screen as she grows older
'But it was a cool thing'
Matilda will "probably be mortified," Cuoco told the media outlet. "But it was a cool thing," she added. "Obviously, it was the first time I'd ever done that and been able to do that. And it was a new experience for me," she continued. On June 9, 2023, the comedy series will make its debut. Cuoco will play a fictionalized version of herself who gets into a lot of scrapes with her admirers. “ It’s kind of cool moment in time to know that we have this set in stone forever,” Cuoco said about the filming of the show while expecting a baby.
'This was very new'
For Cucoo things are very new and she has had a lot of help from everyone while expecting and even eating a lot of bad stuff, "I've been working a long time, and it's rare when things are very new and this was very new. I had a lot of help, a lot of friends, everyone at work, they took care of me like crazy and I ate a lot of bad stuff and it was a blast."
The couple announced the pregnancy in October 2022 via social media, sharing photos of a cake with pink frosting to reveal they were having a girl. “Baby girl Pelphrey coming 2023,” Cuoco wrote on Instagram on October 11, 2022. “Beyond blessed and over the moon… I love you @tommypelphrey !!!” Pelphrey, who is also known for 'Outer Range' and 'She Said', gushed over his partner and their daughter in his own Instagram post on the same day. “My heart is full of love and gratitude for this miracle,” he wrote. “Eternally grateful for the strength and bravery of my soulmate and best friend @kaleycuoco. You are incredible.” Cuoco, who is also known for '8 Simple Rules', 'The Flight Attendant' and 'Meet Cute', was previously married to tennis player Ryan Sweeting and equestrian Karl Cook.
