The series takes viewers through different storylines and interestingly, characters are given ample screen time for viewers to have a better connection with them. Well, this is a heist series and we see the team getting inside the vault to accomplish their mission. But how does the heist go? And who was able to steal the bonds? Let’s take a look.

Netflix ‘Kaleidoscope’ Ending Explained: Who stole the bonds?

These bonds are actually the thing that team cares about and they are ready to steal them so that they can an amazing life ahead. The Heist takes place successfully and everyone was really happy, everything went downhill when they opened the truck to see the bonds and found out that they are not in the boxes. Instead, there are only blank sheets of paper under a cover bond to dupe them. So, the entire team is forced to think about the bonds and where did they go?

For that, we would have to see the final episode of the series titled ‘White’. The aforementioned episode is all about how the team orchestrated the heist and walked away with the bonds. The heist starts with five team members on the ground and getting through the security guards to the vault. Leo, aka Ray (Giancarlo Esposito), Ava (Paz Vega), Bob (Jai Courtney), and Stan (Peter Mark Kendall) are inside the vault and are set to accomplish their plans. They got inside the vault easily because Ray’s daughter Hannah (Tati Gabrielle) was working in the vault. When Hannah said that she wants to be a part of the plan, her father said a firm no because he didn’t want his daughter to be anyway near this.

Hannah was furious at this and only wanted to steal away the bonds from her father so that she can also take him out of this world as well. So, when Ray is making a plan to steal the bonds, Hannah is stitching a plan to steal the bonds from her father and his crew. So, she begins her plan by giving her sister, Liz, a job in the same building where SLS and FedEx are having their offices where they send out packages from. Meanwhile, Ray’s plan is to get those boxes in their custody when they are unaccompanied in the elevator. Judy would send the elevator to RJ (Jordan Mendoza) and that’s when Hannah would come into the picture and help the team to get those boxes out.

The boxes have entered the elevator and everything is going as per the plan. However, Hannah comes in and manages to stop the elevator at FedEx. Now, here comes the twist. Hannah gets those boxes out and swaps them with the boxes that only consist of blank papers. However, to make the team feel that they accomplished the mission, she leaves a couple of real bonds at the top in case someone opens the boxes. Hannah knows that it would be impossible for them to check every paper when they get out and the team would be happy that they have accomplished what they wanted to.

That’s why she put Liz there and she was also a part of Hannah’s masterful plan. As the team gets out of the vault, Hannah manages to take almost all the bonds away from her father.

The reason for her betrayal was how her father turned into a maniac for taking revenge on Roger, who used to be Ray’s partner. Roger betrayed Ray and started to live the life that Ray always wanted to have. However, Hannah knew that these bonds belonged to very powerful people and whenever they find out about that, they’ll come for her father and kill him. So, she stitched a plan, took the bonds away, and gave them back to their owners because they always wanted them to be written off and that’s what they did.

In the end, we can say that Ray was able to take his revenge on Roger by stealing those bonds, but Hannah saved her father from all the powerful people who might have destroyed his life to the core.

Will there be a second season? Let’s keep our fingers crossed.

‘Kaleidoscope’ is currently streaming on Netflix.
