When asked about his source of inspiration, he reflected, "Back in college, I was studying, bro. Shout out to DDG, bro. When he was asking for credit, like, I still gave props to DDG. Swear on my mother's life. It's still him. Swear."

He added, "It's not even close when you compare it to playing with DDG. But you have to understand, bro, he was in college, looking kinda rough. Then he took the leap, right? And he went to LA."

Cenat went on to convey his admiration for DDG's video-uploading capabilities, saying, "He's dropping three videos a day. That's how it is. He's posting three... he's posting three videos a day. Look, but you have to consider that everyone who's doing stuff now wants it easy, bro. Who's the hotshot right now?"

He proceeded to describe the equipment DDG utilizes for video capture, elaborating, "He's got a biga** camera. He's just vlogging for a crazy long time, he's just feening for content as he does it. He's dissing Yachty. He's putting that out, but he was dropping hits."

Cenat further added, "He was putting up that stuff. I'm telling you, he'd drop three YouTube videos in one day. He'd edit, but it wouldn't be some crazy edit."

He concluded by affirming, "I'm genuine. I've got it. Like, if me and him ever get into it, he's going to dissect this stuff, clip it like crazy."
