Twitch streamer who goes by the name Kaceytron is being dragged on Twitter yet again as a video of her rapping back in 2020 sees her using the N-word. Users brought to light a YouTube clip that was uploaded on November 1, 2020 where Kaceytron raps along to 'Hood Go Crazy' by Tech9.

As per reports, she is being criticized for replacing the word "natives" with the N-word. The streamer took to her Twitter account to set the record saying that this isn't the first time that someone has been put in hot water after fans have misheard them say the racist slur.

Is Kaceytron racist?

Kaceytron tweeted an entire thread as a response to the resurfacing of this video explaining what really happened during that now controversial incident. "There's a clip of my surfacing where it SOUNDS like I am saying the N-Word. I FULLY understand that it SOUNDS like I am saying it. However, I am not. This isn't the first time in twitch history someone has said something that started with an "N" and is misheard as the N-word," she tweeted. She explained to her followers why it may have seemed like she was using the racist slur when in actuality the word is not part of lyrics of the song.

"I was singing along to "Hood Go Crazy" by Tech9... the lyric is actually "Kansas City natives and we're all a little kookoo"... why would I say it when it's not even the word? I'm also wearing a mask, making it more unclear of what I said... not to mention it's 2020," she added. She also posted a video of the "actual" occurence writing, "Here is the actual VOD of the occurence http://kaceytron.tv/vods/#oyVhj7MEc1I… it happened around the 4hr mark, legit for probably the next 3 hours of my stream I am re-iterating that I didn't say it RIGHT AFTER IT HAPPENED... I ended up having to take a break from my stream I was so upset."

After she had explained herself, the streamer decided to not stop there and continued to post more tweets making fun of "children" and calling her fandom "toxic". In one tweet she writes, "I REALLY appreciate all of those defending me who know that I am a person who truly would never want to put anything bad out into the world. But honestly it's not worth it.. this fandom is so toxic there is no point. Sorry to the fans who are made to look bad bc of this behavior." She also then proceeded to post a word document in which she clarifies all the negative things being said about her. In the document she has many subpoint addressing each of the things she's being called out for such as “Kaceytron is a Trump supporter”, “Kaceytron is homophobic”, “Kaceytron said the B-slur on stream”, “Kaceytron said the N-word multiple times” and a few others.

'Please educate yourself and actually apologize please Kacey'

She then further fell into more hot water after she decided to address trolls that were dragging her for using the "r-word." She tweeted, "deranged minecraft stans are now using a tweet where I explain in detail why I stopped saying the r-word and believe it is harmful to cancel me for saying the r-word because I filtered it the "wrong" way ... please, open up the schools @JoeBiden". She then added, "yes im making fun of children for having their lives revolve around minecraft, if somebody would have done it years ago we might not have ended up here."

Many were unimpressed as to how she handled the situation and took to Twitter to further dub the streamer a racist. "hey kaceytron, just because you are a women doesn't mean that all your disgusting racist things that you've said get to be ignored. how about instead of being an asshole and attacking teenagers, you get a life and stop being a d*ck," said one user. Another added, "aww you think poor grown a** kacey cant handle cyberbullying see, all we’ve wanted her to do is properly address her being racist and ableist, okay? shes the one who decided to mock us first, so if she started it and can’t handle it, thats on her, not us." Another added, "It isn't the first time?? Stop trying to excuse yourself. Please educate yourself and actually apologize please Kacey."

Another added, "It isn't the first time?? Stop trying to excuse yourself. Please educate yourself and actually apologize please Kacey." "Awww kaceytron im gonna say something that you probably don’t want to hear but outside of your weirdo fans thinks you’re an ugly racist homophobic fr34k," tweeted yet another user.

Some of her fans also advised her to be quiet about the situation and let it go, with one user writing, "I listened to it & even if u did say it, u could barely hear it. To me it sounds like someone is just tryin to find the smallest shit to try & cancel u. I'm not sure what brought up this 5 month old vod but I wouldn't give them the attention they so desperately crave." Another added, "I think it sounds like you said "niggas" and the lyrics is "natives", but who gives a shit what I think? People getting this upset is just sad. F*ck this cancel culture bullshit." Yet another added, "I dont think that shes racist im one of the persons defending her. The problem with those toxic stans is that they take stuff out of context and to serious. They dont care if she offended the whole black community or just said it by mistake to noone. They only care about the word."

It seems like Kaceytron may have not handled the resurfacing of last year's controversial drama well, and while some continue to defend her and well, cancel the "cancel culture," others feel that the Twitch streamer needs to make a better apology to her community of players and followers.
