K-pop singer Amber Liu is on the brink of getting canceled on Twitter following her long post about George Floyd’s tragic death and the need to bring awareness to the issue. This comes just months after she had come under fire for saying black people "deserve it", for they don’t show respect to the police. The post, which has now been deleted, sees Liu share her opinion about the ongoing issue in a mail saying, "I am emailing today to demand accountability for the racist murder of George Floyd". The next paragraph reads, "I demand that charges be pressed against all officers involved in this heinous racist murder, including specifically Derek Chauvin and Tou Thao. They should not be allowed to keep their jobs and should be charged and prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law for FIRST DEGREE MURDER."

Internet users were quick to notice the blunder the singer had made with respect to the murder charges and soon called her out for not only being ignorant about the issue but also making absurd statements. When she began to trend for all the wrong reasons, the 'Beautiful' singer issued a statement through another tweet, which has been taken down as well. In the deleted tweet she had said, "For my last tweet, its template and you can edit it. This is just how I chose to use it. It has been brought to my attention a first-degree murder charge is ambitious, but that is what I believe. Thank you for your comments & I appreciate the discussion we are able to have."

Perhaps, she removed the tweets after her followers demanded her to delete her statements that have irked many. One of them said, "PLEASE DELETE THIS. If they raise the degree he would get a chance to say it is not intentional (the first degree) and the case would get thrown OUT! PLEASE DELETE." Meanwhile, several of the Twitter users shared a clip from one of her earlier video interviews, in which while addressing police brutality against a black man she had said, "I think he deserved it dude, he deserved it. You don’t have to act like that towards a police officer. A police offer is a police officer. Show some type of respect."

Reacting to this one user wrote, "Amber Liu PLEASE SHUT UP!!! PEOPLE ALREADY DON'T LIKE YOU BECAUSE YOU SAID A BLACK MAN DESERVED TO BE ARRESTED FOR EATING A SANDWICH!!!" Internet users were quick to remind one another of Liu's previous statement and soon started a trend on Twitter. While many have asked her to "shut the f**k up", some are asking if she wants to get canceled for the second time. While one said, "Everytime Amber Liu speaks, she gets roasted because it's never the right thing. I think she should just... not speak... at all... about anything. Just don't speak," and another added, "when is Amber Liu gonna shut up like honestly." Meanwhile, another tweet read, "I'm sorry but it's just so funny to see Amber Liu trending AGAIN maybe 6 months after she made the 'he deserved it' tweet like damn girl you wanna get canceled TWICE? It's was her loud a** deserves."
